I started a new thread as we hit 1k

Might be worth putting a puppy pad on the bed. Or a towel. Am off to bed, Mr C's already hogged most of the duvet, rushing in to see if I can claim a corner.

No vomit or upset tummy last night so hopefully it's passed. Not seen him use his tray yet, he was pretty quiet last night

He looks not bad at all, considering. He's prob still a bit weedy and tired.

So are you I should think, take it easy today.

I electrocuted myself this morning. Just before leaving for work. So I have an electrician coming out as I arrived home around 6.30pm

Leaving for work, switched hall light off. Giant bang, weird smell, sparks flying out the switch, smoke alarm wailing type thing

Another day successfully negotiated, another life-threatening disaster averted [grin[

Has anyone else forgotten it's a Bank Holiday weekend? I remembered when the unbroken sun and heat since June ended promptly at 5pm as the heavens opened and me and Mr C got under the duvet.

My boss forgot so far that he booked 2 work calls with clients for Monday .

I'll be working - but that's because I got offered 2 cases to write on Thursday evening, for which I get paid per case. They are overloaded at the mo, so there's a good chance that the earlier I get these done, the greater the likelihood that they will ask me to do a couple more . Money / Long weekend. Long weekend / money. Money won out.

Well done Allergic that is a cracker - nothing like a bonus job ,I bet they love you for working over a BH as well.

I'm working as well, sort of, volunteering at the local charity so it doesn't really count.

Mr C will be reclining. I might put the sport on for him.

My work looks fun this week(!)
Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday night at one job
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday day 8-5pm at my main job

Typical - I skimmed the cases between my "day job" work on Friday morning & had to email one of the advisers with a list of Things I Need to Know to do the case that he'd forgotten. Luckily he came back with the answers before the weekend - getting the info in the first place can be the longest part of the process.

"Ollivander" Monday night & Tuesday day, and Thursday day AND night looks horrific! And poor deserted little Ollie, how will he cope with no Mama for that long?

I had to watch the video to check! The black scratch I'm not sure. Probably scrapping with old old stable cat (Binks) or squeezing through somewhere
