Maybe he has a 'friend'. Perhaps (even) all of the recent brouhaha has been about ......separation from them. Smile

Ollivander84 · 18/08/2018 21:48

Come in, welcome to the cat sanctuary Hmm
NMC has just wandered in

Separated at birth? Same glossy sable fur and professional-level engagement with camera? I know what I think.

Look at Olli and his admirer - Summer Lovin' in action. Olli's the Travolta to NMC's coy but affectionate ONJ. Travolta can't sing either :)

Mr C faked loss of appetite all day until the roast beef came out. Now hassling me to come to bed, even tho I am watching the new netflix cartoon Disenchantment C. Verdict: worth a try.

cozietoesie · 18/08/2018 22:28

Next door told us this evening that they're to give house room to two ginger males from the local cat sanctuary. Grin

Guiltypleasures001 · 18/08/2018 22:28

Haha

She's in her hammock, it's the only nod to home comforts she does, she always sleeps up against the bathroom door on the landing, or between the bedroom doors.

LanaorAna2 · 18/08/2018 22:36

Oh C how LOVELY. How is PB taking the news? Somehow I feel he may not be round with a cup of dreamies and a lump of coal.

cozietoesie · 18/08/2018 22:48

If anyone does it, it will be me - on his behalf. (Won't go down well. Grin)

LanaorAna2 · 18/08/2018 23:13

I can imagine the martyred looks.... baleful sulking, under breath grumbling about 'Johnny-come-latelys, these gingers, so-called victims from who knows where turning up with a sob story at the so-called refuge'; day after day of wounded silences, you name it.

Finally, every time you so much as post a letter, the muttered reproach 'Going out again to see HIM, I suppose. Or his BROTHER'.

We've all been there. I have to wash my hands if I touch another cat in case Mr C throws a fit of pique. :)

cozietoesie · 18/08/2018 23:33

He's doing well with DBro and DSis who are here frequently at the moment. DBro has been heard to muse ' He hardly hissed at me at all before he took his Yum e Yum'.' Grin

LanaorAna2 · 19/08/2018 10:38

Grin Grin I think Dbro may be becoming more sensible to the joys and rewards of petcare. Feeding sweets eh? PB, you are truly a very clever cat.

Massive shout-out to Dbro for his upskilling progress Grin Has he started browsing Amazon for little home improvements yet?

You can tell how far PB has come - not just the enslavement of the oblivious Dbro Grin but the very fact that he now deigns to be looked after every now and then by Not My Cozie. It's a really good thing, that trust blossoming; it's because of you he can trust other people. He's got his faith in human nature back, no mean feat.

LanaorAna2 · 19/08/2018 10:50

Whisper it, but PB might enjoy hissing at DB.

Ollivander84 · 19/08/2018 15:25

Apparently I should not be going to work Ollie has decided

Ollivander84 · 19/08/2018 18:40

He has giant eyes Grin

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 19/08/2018 19:07

It's not so much their size........Grin

Ollivander84 · 19/08/2018 19:46

The pleading look of them?

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 19/08/2018 19:47

Well - the 'something' look of them. (I'm not sure that 'pleading' is the word I'd have chosen. Grin)

LanaorAna2 · 19/08/2018 20:39

I'm not sure 'beseeching' would be my first adjective of choice, either.

You've never had contact with any notorious or bloodthirsty dictators, or Steve Jobs, say, have you O. Not to worry Grin

Right, everyone - if you value your life or your reason, watch Isle of Dogs online. Wes Anderson film. Despite it having cats in bit parts only, the story has dogs as heroes and is beautiful and clever.

Ollivander84 · 19/08/2018 20:51

He does look a bit "or else"

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 19/08/2018 21:40

Home to very sweet chirruping and paw resting on my arm

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 19/08/2018 21:44

Of course. (He has you under the paw! Grin)

Ollivander84 · 19/08/2018 21:53

He wanted (another pouch) food
Can you blame me with eyes like that? BlushGrin
