Weeds - he's only 3.2kg at the minute, trying to fatten him up Blush with kitten food

He's pretty compliant with most things...
3.2 Kg is less than half of my giant mass murderer. I get used to his size, then every so often see a " normal" cat and they look so small!
When I collected him from the RSPCA they muttered something about him being " a good weight" and thrust my carrier, stuffed with bristling black fur, with two giant black paws dangling out the front, at me.
He looks like he's on casters when he stands up, his feet are huge!

Ollivander84 · 05/06/2018 23:45

I'm the same but the other way round, forget how teeny Ollie is Grin
Cats protection text me saying I'm a cruel mummy for taking him to the vet twice and he should go and live with her immediately she adores him

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/06/2018 00:40

Who wouldn't adore Ollie?

Allergictoironing · 06/06/2018 08:44

Ollie seems to be the more intelligent, cuddlier version of my adored Boycat (though not much more than half his size). So yes, who wouldn't want an Ollie in their lives? Grin

Giiiiiiiiiinge!!!!!!

LanaorAna2 · 06/06/2018 20:37

She is exquisite.

Mr C terrible greedy. Seems to be peaceful now after several large meals.

How PB on this fine day?

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/06/2018 21:47

Mr. C has abandoned his fake hunger strike then?! Smile
Another day of mousemageddon here, including one that escaped the killing field and made a bolt for freedom down the stairs, with Lecter-cat in hot persuit.
Dived into the glory hole under the stairs, meaning I had to haul out all the crap stored there, looking for it ( closely supervised by slavering fanged beast).
Eventually located and scooped up in the mouse box ( patent pending) and dumped outside.
Took about an hour for the beast to give up hope and abandon his vigil to flounce upstairs and sulk on the bed.
Any Fred photos to go with the Ginge ones?

I love that she's getting stroked and he's digging in to the food, trying to get a head start.

Ollivander84 · 06/06/2018 23:15

He is ALL about the food

O is struggling with his wee again Sad
No blood, had a giant wee this morning but keeps getting in and out his litter tray tonight. He's eating, drinking and bright but I haven't seen him wee yet

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/06/2018 13:39

How is he?

Ollivander84 · 07/06/2018 13:45

Admitted at the vets about ten mins ago for bladder/urine retention
Bladder about a third full, they're drugging him to see if he relaxes and goes or he's having a GA and catheter

OP posts:
Weedsnseeds1 · 07/06/2018 14:13

Poor Ollie, would it not be easier all round if he moved in at the vet's and you visited occasionally?

Ollivander84 · 07/06/2018 14:18

I did suggest that....
Today's bill is at £235 so far

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 07/06/2018 14:42

He's had a catheter in. Been admitted for 2-4 days

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/06/2018 14:43

You do have insurance don't you?

Poor Ollie. I hope it all clears up quickly. I'm really worried now :(

Ollivander84 · 07/06/2018 14:46

I do! With Tesco
They said I spotted it nice and early and I'm waiting to find out if there's any crystals in his wee. After I've sobbed down the phone that he wants mama cuddles and his mousie Hmm they've said I can visit him tomorrow night for as long as I want

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/06/2018 14:51

Poor Ollie and Poor Ollivander. I hope he gets better soon.
