I started a new thread as we hit 1k

Just been to the shops and bumped into my ex who shot me a look of pure hatred. (I'm not surprised, he was on the sweetest deal known to humanity until I called it.)

Walked home feeling a bit fragile to be met with this pic....some of us have it worse. A lot worse

Picked O up. Apparently he has been very hissy/spitty
And he's just had a horse size wee. All over the vet

Brill news and yay to 'O'!!

Old girl got a fur ball stuck aged about 12, surgically removed then went on hunger strike.
Sent home after a few days to see if she'd eat, having refused all food offered, including care packages from me.
Subtext was, she's going to die. Bounced out of her carrier and screamed at me to fill her bowl. Cantankerous creatures!
Glad Ollie has turned the corner

He has eaten, drank and gazed at me all the way home

Neither item moves in an exciting way, so aren't on the " items most often slaughtered" list, bit I could probably find somewhere doing clotted cream by post.
We have two birds, a large mouse and a vole on offer today.

Vet check done, bill total up, and he is all fine. They tried to tell me about crystals and special food, I pointed out he didn't have a single crystal, grit and his kidneys were perfect so I was carrying on with the meat diet he was designed to eat
Vet who took tooth out of nose agrees (she's a raw food advocate!)

Ahh, so glad he is ok. Hope that’s the last time he has to see DA VET for a while.

I had V>E>T on last night re Mr C. He won't take his pills. Off to buy cheddar for tonight's laffs. They've threatened to operate on him again if he's still on strike in a fortnight. Last time his thyroid grew back.

It's so hot in London that Mr C's under the sofa flat out. He did manage a chicken leg for breakfast. I am considering whether or not I can get anything done clearing out a charity shop basement with no ventilation.

How are they progressing with The Groom?

Weezol cat is being...interesting. it's taken six years to get her to the point where she's very nearly a lap cat for several minutes at a time (ishoos, bad people in the past). However, it would seem Wednesdays are different, she luffs me on a Wednesday. Greets me in bed with head bumps, chirrups and epic purring. Hangs out with me most of the day.
