Oh no! Poor Ollie. Hope he makes a very quick recovery x

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/06/2018 18:05

Poor cat, at least you caught it early. Thank god for insurance.

LanaorAna2 · 07/06/2018 21:12

Good luck darling Olli. Try and take it easy, the both of you.

Ollivander84 · 07/06/2018 21:55

I will be there tomorrow straight after work with mousie and cuddles for him. The vet was amused when I practically strangled him with hugs and kisses. Ollie, not the vet

Oh no, poor Ollie. He is in the Wars at the moment Sad

LanaorAna2 · 07/06/2018 23:26

Try and get a good night's sleep, he's bound to be feeling better in the morning and so should you be.

Ollivander84 · 08/06/2018 07:33

Forgot to update. No crystals (yay) but a big blood clot blocking his urethra. Because he had to be weird. Vet thinks it's from the cystitis

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/06/2018 09:27

Ollies an "expect the unexpected" kind of cat isn't he?. Can he come home now?.

Ollivander84 · 08/06/2018 10:18

No, he's still got a catheter in

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 08/06/2018 12:28

They've just rung to ask to give him fluids. Catheter needs to be in for 48hrs minimum

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 08/06/2018 13:35

The longer he's in there, the better for his poor bladder. Vets sound very switched on.

Ollivander84 · 08/06/2018 13:40

They are so good, he's in at the vets that removed the tooth that wandered. I mean he couldn't just have crystals like a normal cat, let's just have a giant blood clot Hmm
Kidney function is good though

Poor brave kitten.

How is PB? In rude health, I trust.

Weedsnseeds1 · 08/06/2018 21:09

Love the monogrammed blanket!
He looks rather peeved, I must say Smile

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/06/2018 06:47

I'm up early - good luck Ollie. Im thinking of you.

Ollivander84 · 09/06/2018 08:08

Peeved isn't the word... I may never be forgiven Blush

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/06/2018 08:55

You are indeed in trouble. What a look

Ollivander84 · 09/06/2018 08:58

I think he's staying in his tray because the catheter means he can't control his wee and he's so clean he's probably thinking if he stays there it's fine

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 09/06/2018 09:02

That and it looks really uncomfortable, just to guilt you even more.

Ollivander84 · 09/06/2018 12:54

I am picking O up at 9pm Grin
He hasn't had a wee but vet says stressed cats don't wee... and he needs to come home to see if he will

OP posts:
Weezol · 09/06/2018 15:13

I think by 9pm he may well be past the anger and just be very, very disappointed that you have done this to him.

Ollivander84 · 09/06/2018 15:16

He can be as disappointed as he likes provided he gets in that tray and has a wee Grin

OP posts:
Weezol · 09/06/2018 16:06

True. I hope O has a wee that a Suffolk Punch would be happy with.

I think my comment was symptomatic of my Irish Catholic upbringing. I am fine with Weezolcat's shouting, random violence and general sodpottery, but it's the disdain or disappointment that crushes me.
