All of our (singleton) Siamese have had the same name so I think I pretty well have to rename him - I'm not sure what to say about that to his current owner though.

Aha! A "kitten"! I'm sure all will be well once he's broken you in. So glad you are getting another. Nothing replaces the ones that went before, but the next one always has its own personality and quirks, so not a replacement at all, more a new force of nature to mould you and hone you, until you are just right
