Come and sing the praises for your black/black and white cats

Couldn't resist after reading they are the most unpopular colour on another thread. Here is my little black man who has a small white patch on his chest. He is the most sleek and handsomest cat who chose us at his foster home and I love him to bits.

His sister who is a tabby is nowhere near as affectionate or sophisticated as my boy, I just don't understand why they are overlooked. (I do love my tabby as well, she just isn't as cool!)

Here's ours, we had no idea they were unpopular when we adopted her.

My boys are solid black with green eyes. I love the both and actively searched for black cats.

I have always wanted a ginger cat as I think they are beautiful. My childhood cat was a tortie and now I've got my black and white and my tabby and white.

If we get more cats when these two go I think they will both be black or black and white!

Mine is white and black and gorgeous.

This is bonzocat. Nervous but loving. Rarely hunts, non destructive, Never had an accident. Comes to call and glitters in the sunshine. She also has tabby stripes if you look in certain lighting conditions.

PicklePig is the most handsome cat in the world as far as I'm concerned. My dh expressly said no black or black & white cats when we went to battersea to look for a cat, but PicklePig climbed on his lap & purred & that was it. Dh was smitten.

Wonderful cats all. I'll confess to having a bit of a thing for PicklePig though - those eyes are just so knowing.

I read that thread too. I had no idea B & W cats were unpopular. I also had no idea that people got rid of their cats because they don't fit in with their home decor .

Anyway, here is my girl. She is convinced she is a dog! She adores DP despite him being a 'dog person'. She's laid on his chest in this pic, working her feline magic .

Currently I have one black and white girl, a tabby girl, and a giant evil ginger boy.

B&W girl is very pretty, but has ishoos as she is a rescue and spent a long time at the cattery after all her kittens had been rehomed.

Here's my B&W. I put up the shelf he's sitting on especially for him. So he'd find it easier to get over the garden wall.

He's a bit scary. I imagine him to have a Spanish accent. If seated next to him at a dinner party, you'd find him sinister, but you'd also be charmed. You wouldn't accept a lift home off him though.

I still miss my giant, eccentric and mildly psychopathic black and white cat who died many years back. Who thought he was a dog and would follow my dad and the actual dog down the garden in procession for their last night time walk

There is a beautiful black cat with white stockings who visits us - sadly belongs to three doors down but we are his holiday home as it were!

And I can't resist posting this one again in his Rainbow Warrior hat.

I read that too, it made me sad. If I were more technologically savvy I'd post a picture of my two - one black and one daft-as-a-brush (probably the cat of my life) black and white old girl cat who, without a doubt, chose me.

Here's one of mine that I'm currently fostering but no one wants :(
