Couldn't resist after reading they are the most unpopular colour on another thread. Here is my little black man who has a small white patch on his chest. He is the most sleek and handsomest cat who chose us at his foster home and I love him to bits.

His sister who is a tabby is nowhere near as affectionate or sophisticated as my boy, I just don't understand why they are overlooked. (I do love my tabby as well, she just isn't as cool!)

I could just eat all these gorgeous kitties up with a spoon!
I wouldn't need a spoon or cream for the ones in the bow ties.

I include a picture of my baby. Is she black enough to count as a black cat.

My DH really disliked cats until the arrival of our gorgeous, clever and funny Boo. She is now the apple of his eye. Full of personality, cheeky and as bright as a button.
She has a bag and box fetish...getting in them, sitting on them and dragging them round the house

I love my black cat! Hes great with kids and is more like a person than a cat! Hes massive like a black panther but is very loving.

We adopted from the rspca- he'd been there ages. Id definitely have a black cat again- had no idea they were so undesirable

To add...she was rescued from a house where 15 other cats lived, they were all either pregnant or just had kittens. Filthy, riddled with fleas, sleeping in their own excrement and underweight.
We got her just in time, had her spayed and de flead. I love her so much. She has very little gratitude though

This is my Belle, yes she is a bit of a cow who likes to bite, scratch and bully me and the DC but who could be angry with this little face plus she is only 10 months old a ickle baby. I spoil her rotten which makes her think she can get whatever she wants when she wants she does. I love black/black and white cats.

This is the kittyman. He is black as the inside of a coal shed everywhere but his eyes and a dot on his tum.

We have a silver grey stripy one too but I love black cats. The way they look like Chinese calligraphy when sleeping upside down

Moby, my current foster! He's a big soppy boy, loves attention and his favourite game of chasing a foil ball up and down the stairs (I'm sure my neighbours love that one too!)

This is my mums kitten that she completely dotes on, we call him her little prince

This evening I couldn't find my baby anywhere. Looked all over the house.
She was in the bedroom where I had already checked a couple of time. Black cat on a black chair with her eyes shut. Not a chance.

Not sure I could tell them apart. My cat is quite fat but keeps herself very clean. Her white bits are immaculate.

I really want to post her picture, she's such a little darling!

Can't see the photos as I'm on my phone, but that may be just as well. We lost our beautiful black and white boy just 3 weeks ago and it is still pretty raw. The thought that anyone could not 'choose' him (the only b/w in a litter of tabbies) because of his colouring is crazy. He was so very lovely.

BuggersMoggy - he looks particularly grumpy in this pic and has also been brawling. He is still, IMO, a very handsome cat.

I must find an uncurled cat, as curled up he looks like a wee tubby, but he's actually just a very, very large moggy.

Cat neuterer. If I didn't share my house with an 18 year old girl cat with health ishoos I would so PM you! That cat is gorgeous.
So glad to see this thread. We rescued our cats 16 years ago. Black boy chose me and black and white girly chose DH. (Anyone who thinks they chose their cat is deluded!)
Lost boy to cancer and hit and run. Bugger.

Yay! It worked! She looks smug as she is sleeping on the whelping pad AKA the butt warmer!!
