Anyone snuck three dogs into center parcs

Has anyone snuck an extra dog into center parcs? Really want to book one lodge for myself, husband, daughter and parents but we have three dogs between us.

Two of the dogs are same breed so could pass as one, but I’m working out how to you get past the entrance? Do they record number of dogs in each car?

I would hide the smallest one but she’s noisy 😆 so it would be our largest one who would need hiding as she’d keep quiet.

It’s two labradors and Jack Russell. Just seems expensive to pay for a whole extra lodge just to accommodate a dog!

They've offered pet-friendly options, but you don't want to fork out more. You can take the risk, but if you do then they retain the right to eject you and ban you permanently. I've never been, but friends have and on past occasions they have made a note of breed, colour, name and sex of each dog as you check in and also open the boot to see if there are stowaways. You can see why they do it. I don't know why people can't just follow the rules that they are allowed to set for their own establishment. If you think it's expensive then go somewhere else?

Error404FucksNotFound · 10/07/2026 19:45

Will you be ok with being kicked out and losing your money if they find out?

FlamingBanana · 10/07/2026 19:48

This is why people think all dog owners are dickheads.

If you want to take 3 dogs but don’t want to pay for two cabins, you’ll need to look at sites that allow 3 dogs and compromise on some of the activities that centreparcs offers.

Electricsausages · 10/07/2026 19:48

How about put them in kennels or tell the park you have / taking 3 mutts

loobylou10 · 10/07/2026 19:49

They really don’t open your boot to see if there are stowaways 😂 but they do ask breed of dog

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 10/07/2026 19:49

Could you hollow out one of the labradors and fit the Jack Russell inside?
I think I saw something like it in a cartoon once - or it might have been in a horror comic.

Wow was just asking for experiences if anyone had taken a third dog calm down 😆

It's worth a go. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Thanks 😆 maybe something we could try this, best solution I’ve heard so far

You're thinking of the Trojan War, I think, when an army of jack russells burst out of a wooden labrador and defeated an entire holiday park.

I’d happily tell them we are taking three and pay an extra fee for one, has anyone done this do they accept this? I just don’t want a whole extra lodge seems overkill.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for being a “dickhead”

Perfectly calm - how was I not calm? Just laid out the truth for you, which you asked for. Take it or leave it, it's no skin off my nose.

Yes but trying to establish the probability of the “if”

I know three people this has happened to! Three! Admittedly the last was about 18 months ago. I can only give the benefit of their experience.

I didn’t ask the truth. I asked for people’s experiences of taking three dogs to center parcs. You’ve already confirmed you’ve never been to center parcs so your point isn’t relevant.

Silverbirchleaf · 10/07/2026 19:57

Surely someone would notice when you take them for walks?

Coconutter24 · 10/07/2026 19:58

During check in they enforce the 2 dog rule so you can’t sneak a third dog in

Ahhh okay this is the kinda anecdotal evidence I was looking for this is what I’m worried about, we may look somewhere else we go to the Mole Resort in Devon a lot and have three dogs there I just ring up and say “I know your limit is two but please can we have three” and they’re always fine with it just not sure if center parcs would be the same if I rung up as they’re a bigger company with less flexible policies.

I gave you the benefit of the experience of three people I know. Sorry if I wasn't in the car and that somehow invalidates the advice. I'm sure you've never given advice based on other people's experiences, except you definitely have, because we all do to be... what's the word? Helpful? just because it's not the advice you wanted there is no need to get shirty, I wasn't shirty with you. I'm not Centre Parcs - I don't set the rules - maybe just contact them and ask?

I was thinking this but thought we could just say oh we’ve got two lodges, but I’m not sure now if they check the boot of the car etc. I’m not brave enough to risk that.

What? On one hand you say my advice is irrelevant because I wasn't there and now it's somehow second-hand anecdotes are relevant? I know it's hot today but honestly! Please just call them because the idea of getting there and being turned away is surely the worst possible outcome? I love dogs, I want you to take three on holiday, I just don't want you to get turned away at the gate!

AnyDayNowChuckJacksonNSoul · 10/07/2026 20:01

Grease it up drug mule style..then pack it up your arse.

LuckyManifestations · 10/07/2026 20:01

Maybe not much use but we smuggled our parakeet in many years ago.
We thought we had got away with it until one day as we walked back to our lodge we saw a few people outside looking up at the upstairs window.
Said parrot was singing Old Macdonald Had a Farm at the top of his voice through the slightly open window 😅

Sorry I misread your first post too quickly! Reread it now but knowing three of your friends had this is useful
