Anyone snuck three dogs into center parcs

Has anyone snuck an extra dog into center parcs? Really want to book one lodge for myself, husband, daughter and parents but we have three dogs between us.

Two of the dogs are same breed so could pass as one, but I’m working out how to you get past the entrance? Do they record number of dogs in each car?

I would hide the smallest one but she’s noisy 😆 so it would be our largest one who would need hiding as she’d keep quiet.

It’s two labradors and Jack Russell. Just seems expensive to pay for a whole extra lodge just to accommodate a dog!

If you have cleaners in the lodge I assume they can count to 3

Not daily cleaners just at checkout

I sneak an extra kid into hotel family rooms, so I reckon you can sneak an extra pup into centre parcs. It's fun living dangerously.

Here’s an idea…..just pay for the dogs you actually want to take?
I own multiple dogs, I don’t try to “ sneak” them in anywhere. My dogs, my responsibility. And yes, you are in fact being a dickhead. If you can’t afford the dogs you have, I’d suggest you don’t have them.

Sorry I shall refrain from being a dickhead and take some responsibility I am clearly a terrible individual for even considering this as an option I shall go away and reflect on my actions….

Just follow the rules. Why wouldn't they apply to you?

TheYorkshirePudding · 10/07/2026 20:13

They ask for dog breed, colour and name. No one checked our dog physically and he was laid down in the boot. But the person did look that direction so if they’re visible then maybe that will be a problem?

I’m not a risk taker though think this is why I’m unsure leaning more towards going somewhere else atm

It sounds as if Centre Paris isn’t the place for you and the 3 dogs.

This is useful thanks :) we’ll be in two cars so I’m just wondering if they’ll count each car or not

All the jokes aside it's a lot of money to lose if captured.

I know someone who paid for one but took two, they didn't check and the second one was kind enough to stay quiet. The check in staff don't get out of their hut in my experience to check anything it is all done through your window.

This. Just have the Jack Russell between someone’s feet who’s sat in the back seat , ideally on the kiosk side and have that person feeding the dog treats to keep him quiet. I think they’re probably alert for extra kids/people. Maybe not dogs as much. 🤷‍♀️

Cleo65 · 10/07/2026 20:16

Hopefully you'll be caught. If you want somewhere that allows three dogs without incurring unwanted coats then go there. Simple concept.

That may well be true, but we need to decide if we’d be happy with two lodges

That could work just not sure I have the nerve to pull it off 😆

They already knew that two of our party had checked in driving in another vehicle (about an hour before us). They said ‘oh Bob and Sue are already here, so you must be Jenny, John and your dog? And he’s a Labrador? What colour is he?’

Jellybunny98 · 10/07/2026 20:19

They are quite strict on dog policy in my experience, I wouldn’t risk it.

Would also totally agree with others who say it’s not really a great place to take dogs anyway, you could go somewhere much better suites for dogs without the risk and probably for significantly cheaper!

TorroFerney · 10/07/2026 20:08

You've never been to CP - they are quite rule orientated.

I have been there but a long time ago and never brought dogs in!

CoralOP · 10/07/2026 20:20

OP mumsnet is full of people who would never break rules and love to act utterly disgusted at people who would.
Before the system where names were logged when booking activities I know someone who hid 2 kids in the boot 😆😆

As for dogs, they don't get out of the checkin cabin to check in the car, you have the window open and give details through the window so it should be fine if they are travelling in seperate cabins and you can keep one dog hidden. I must say I really don't thing centre parcs is great for dogs, we go to the whinfell one and they just have little square compounds for the dogs to go do their business, I don't actually know if they are allowed inside the centre, I haven't ever seen one in there.

I second Forest Holidays, they are infinity betters for dogs, loads of long walks around, dog washing stations, water bowls and the cabins have fenced off decking areas so you can be outside without the dog getting out. Good luck!

Clearingaspace · 10/07/2026 20:20

The dogs I have seen at centre parks Woburn seem quiet and are on a lead. Never noticed people with multiple dogs, or dogs running around, so would say the dog tolerant not friendly thing is true, maybe depends which centre pacs it is though.

This. They ask for the names as you check in and tick them off the sheet, they do the same to check off the dogs arriving. For the price you pay for centre parcs, and the additional price you would have to pay for the extra lodge or else someone has to go home with a dog and miss out, just go somewhere else.

WhatAMarvelousTune · 10/07/2026 20:21

Twolittlebirds75 · 10/07/2026 20:06

No I think it would work.Good luck!

I don’t see how that would work. They’d know the car and the driver already checked in, and then you’d be lying that the dog is one that is already checked in. But I imagine they’re aware of this sort of thing, because otherwise you could do the same and sneak extra people in. Book a large lodge that sleeps 8 but has room for a couple of air beds, 7 of you drive in, then one leaves to pick up 3 more but pretends 2 have already checked in and you’re only bringing in one extra.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it got you flagged for an visit that evening to confirm.

Just go somewhere that allows the number of dogs you want! It doesn’t sound worth the stress of worrying you’ll be asked to leave. And what do dogs even do at centre parcs?? Three dogs in a tiny lodge with only very small spaces where they’re allowed off lead?

Oliveoy · 10/07/2026 20:22

Hopefully you'll get kicked out if you try to smuggle one in. Having 3 dogs is so unnecessary, if you have to overrun your life with dogs then live with the consequences
