Anyone snuck three dogs into center parcs

Has anyone snuck an extra dog into center parcs? Really want to book one lodge for myself, husband, daughter and parents but we have three dogs between us.

Two of the dogs are same breed so could pass as one, but I’m working out how to you get past the entrance? Do they record number of dogs in each car?

I would hide the smallest one but she’s noisy 😆 so it would be our largest one who would need hiding as she’d keep quiet.

It’s two labradors and Jack Russell. Just seems expensive to pay for a whole extra lodge just to accommodate a dog!

I might just keep quoting this so no one misses it😂

Oh this is brilliant 😆 I think I would feel confident sneaking them in using this method

You have a nerve. It’s people like you who ruin it for everyone.

Sorry for ruining center parcs for you

You're thinking of the Trojan War, I think, when an army of jack russells burst out of a wooden labrador and defeated an entire holiday park.

🤣

Why is it the Cat was significantly less trouble than some people’s horrible children
And horrible grandparents

Because they have specific lodges for dogs.
no one with a pet hair allergy would be in one of those.

the lodges that aren’t for pets, however, would.

funny how you’ve gone from ‘no one was happy about it’ to ‘why’ so quickly

I wouldn’t dream of going to Centre Parks. No good for dogs and the people can be….sketchy 😎 my dogs wouldn’t want to mix with them. They know how to behave 🥰

Thank you never heard of this place before and we aren’t too far from new forest :)

I understand the frustration as one extra dog would hardly be an issue. The problem is when everybody brings an extra dog. It's like when one person jumps the queue. It only works if everyone else doesn't.

Chilihealer · 10/07/2026 21:01

I’ve done Sherwood Forest with my parents and their 2 dogs and aside from putting details in online no one cared to check on them or the car when we went in. Biggest risk is your lodge neighbours grassing you up id say.

I totally get that, I suppose if the probability of everyone is doing that is low then it wouldn’t make a difference but obviously is everyone does there’d be 50% more dogs than planned for.

Did you tell the rescue, at HC, that you didn’t want to pay for him to go on holidays and planned to try and “sneak him in”. I’d wager not. You wouldn’t have passed the HC. Not to worry, lots of people lie. If you are happy to be one of them, so be it.

Oh dear, you really need to take a cold shower!

I’m not sure not paying an extortionate amount extra to take your dog on holiday so it has its own lodge is a form of cruelty or a reason to not have a rescue?

I mean they could ask for people rescuing to advise of there holiday decisions in advance, and anyone not ensuring that dogs that normally share a house that aren’t having separate accommodation on holiday should be excluded?

is it a requisite that all rescue owners have to even take the dog on holiday?

Yeah we’d book a dog friendly lodge, it’s just they’re limited to two dogs per lodge

Please tell me how the dog is disadvantaged? You’re being ridiculous!

What’s going to upset the dog? That OPs said we are going to centre parcs and then the dog is refused every, will the dog need therapy in later years because that happened?

JulietteHasAGun · 10/07/2026 21:12

Buildingthefuture · 10/07/2026 20:37

Sadly not. You unfortunately get a “zero stars” for being like one of my own rescue dogs, who has raided the bin, been told off and is pretending to be sorry. I can see through both of you!!!
They have an excuse though, being starved/abused/mistreated before they landed with me. What’s your excuse? Just being tight?

In fairness i wouldn’t want to pay an extra £800 or something for a dog! 🤣. I genuinely can’t see what difference it makes to anyone at CP if there are 2 or 3 dogs. Sounds like there’s enough adults to take control of them all. They’re not allowed in the pool, the zip lines, the mini golf, etc so they won’t be using the facilities and causing queues.

I’ve been to CP quite a few times and genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog (because I agree it’s shit for dogs) so I can’t even be convinced by an argument that if everyone broke the rules you’d be tripping up over dogs left right and centre.

Saying that I’m a rule abiding person and wouldn’t risk it because I’d be scared of getting caught and getting slung out! If I knew I could get away with it then maybe I’d do it. But I also wouldn’t take my dogs somewhere they couldn’t be off lead zooming about.

Dog will be traumatised but will get over it. She can take it on a nice shopping trip round John Lewis and then treat it to a doggy ice cream.

I wouldn't take on an army on jack russells. Back in the 1980s one terrorised our entire street on his own. 😱

No way will that cut it!

The dog will have PTSD, as a minimum!

I clearly understand dogs way more than you! I hope you’re not a dog owner.

MyDogClive · 10/07/2026 21:17

Centre parks is fine for dogs and is full of them. I don’t recognise a lot of the scenarios being posted. We take two dogs, and enjoy the outdoor activities. Even the restaurants deliver to your lodge.

And I’m fairly sure that the dogs were barely mentioned at check in…

Thank you :)

It was £800 extra for the weekend we are looking at. Our dogs are more elderly so hopefully don’t need too much running around in the dog area each day but even then sounds like not much they can join in with.
