I love George - the transformation in the school/street was amazing and when Nina came back, the conversation in the kitchen funny with Nina saying "they've found a cure", George "What for?", Nina "Cystitis, what do you think?" ROFL!

WingedVictory · 23/02/2010 21:49

There's a new background blog from "Lloyd", here.

He thinks the train carriage massacre "could almost have been the work of... a Type One", although he tries to rubbish that. He seems very squeamish about the word vampire; probably thinks it will make him seem superstitious!

PamelaTroglodytes · 23/02/2010 21:59

Oooh, the most recent episode was amazing.

But, why is it that Annie is dead and manages a couple of different (grey) outfits, and yet Daisy is always in the same dress/denim combi?

mozette · 24/02/2010 07:14

its Annie's magic cardi! She wears it lots of different ways but it is the same cardigan.

bewareofthedog · 24/02/2010 08:51

And why is it that when Annie wants the door...it's nowhere to be seen. Sod's law I suppose!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/02/2010 13:57

fab show

i came to the conclusion that mitchell knew he was dating a lady calledjagget, but that george+annie never told him the name of the prefessor doing exsperiments, and was only on sundays episode that he heard her name and worked out who she was iyswim

or am i being blonde

cant beleive last one is only a few days away

WingedVictory · 24/02/2010 14:49

Yes, blonde, have just remembered he brought a goldfish to her office. How would he have known where to find her? You must be right about the not knowing Jagget was involved in the experiments.

Finally!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/02/2010 17:44

yah, i am right, i am not a dumb blonde

Bleatblurt · 25/02/2010 12:22

But Mitchell hears George talking about Nina and the cure and mentions a Prof Jagget when they are at their house but doesn't make the connection! It's not until the priest says her last name that he connects them. Why doesn't he go when George says that the scientist involved is called Jagget?

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/02/2010 13:34

dont know

WingedVictory · 25/02/2010 14:40

Right, let's get a lynch mob over to Toby Whithouse's writing desk and demand satisfaction!

On the other hand, although I can't remember the scene in which the cure and "Jaggett" are discussed, is it possible Mitchell wasn't paying attention? He has been breezing past his housemates quite a lot since taking on Herrick's mantle. Ashamed, no doubt, and unwilling to discuss what is going on with people who are bound to disapprove.

But the lynch mob sounds more fun than trying to remember what happened who knows how long ago! I'm all confused about chronology, as I've been catching up with things on the i-player, so there are odd intervals between my BH "feeds".

Bleatblurt · 26/02/2010 00:52

Don't be , Blondes. You are right. WingedVictory is right. I, as always, am just confused!

WingedVictory · 26/02/2010 13:19

Confused about what, Butterball? It was a good question.

Anyway, are you up for making up the lynch mob?

Bleatblurt · 26/02/2010 15:02

I'm always just confused. I'm the type that goes, "Why did he look at her like that? Is he a goody or a baddy? What did he mean when he said that?"

I have my pitchfork at the ready. Let's go get that writer!

WingedVictory · 26/02/2010 19:39

Pitchforks up!

WingedVictory · 26/02/2010 19:39

Light the torches!

MrsMotMot · 28/02/2010 15:44

oooh... excited...

Divatheshopaholic · 28/02/2010 15:57

Last one today.
last week was so gruesome, the train and afterward mitchell and daisy blood covered. yukyuk.
I wonder lucy will be recruited instead of killed. That will be great for next series.

WingedVictory · 28/02/2010 22:04

Even better than Lucy's recruitment - HERRICK! He was a bad villain to lose. Kemp wasn't nearly as bad.

Hulla · 28/02/2010 22:21

Do you think Mitchell recruited Lucy? I kind of hope so...

You're right, Herrick is a great villain - he really scares me. Wished it was Ivan though.

Love, love, love Mitchell BH. I can't wait for the next series.

WingedVictory · 28/02/2010 22:42

Sorry, Hulla, I think he let her go. But then I'm a heartless cow who ought to be put in charge of a Dark and Dreadful series, in which "nice" people would not be spared just for being spared, but only it that would be the better drama.....

Does that make me a moraliser of the opposite sort to Kemp? Or is it just the success of the tabloids': "If it bleeds, it leads"?!

P.S. In RL, I am very nice. We ought to have an angel icon to show how peachy-nice I am!

edam · 28/02/2010 22:49

Aw, I know it makes dramatic sense but am very sad about Annie. Thank heavens it looks as if she WILL be in the next series - presumably the whole thing will turn on the search for her? Glad Mitchell has returned to being the Mitchell we know and not a complete monster, too.

WingedVictory · 28/02/2010 22:55

BTW, Hulla, I thought it would be Ivan, too!

I'm quite excited at the possibility that Mitchell, George and Nina will ber dashinrg in and out of Doors, and wonder whether they will have to kill in order to open doors. Oh, perhaps Sykes will help?

WingedVictory · 28/02/2010 22:56

dashing

Hulla · 28/02/2010 23:08

Well I'm going to keeping hoping Lucy is in the next one although I'm not sure she'd work as a vampire.

Oh yes, who will they kill to open doors? Was that Lucy's door that Annie came back through?
