Prof - that's why I wondered about Purgatory. Because some people have gone through the door quite happily - the soldier who helped Annie, and someone earlier on who I've forgotten. It would be too depressing to think everyone is going to hell, so I'm rationalising it with Purgatory!

edam · 02/03/2010 22:12

oh, just remembered it was that ghost who was into 80s music and helped Annie earlier on.

Sparkletastic · 02/03/2010 22:21

I had a brilliantly filthy Mitchell dream on Sunday night . I'm missing it already - Glee is fun but frankly does not do the job in the way that BH does....

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 02/03/2010 22:26

the guy at the psychic show was happy to go as well, i think you're right about the purgatory thing edam.

WingedVictory · 02/03/2010 23:29

Annie is a sociable person. That business of not being allowed to talk about things or people must be hell. Maybe introspective people would enjoy her purgatory (!), but for her, it seems bad.

By the way, is anyone interested in StarTrek: Voyager?

Divatheshopaholic · 03/03/2010 08:33

Can i just ask again? What happened at the end? I just did not get why Daisy was there? Last time we saw Daisy and Mitchell in bloodbath. I dont get what the girl from dungeon said to her.
I shall check on iplayer i guess.

Blondeshavemorefun - Yes Dean Lennox Kelly played Tully in the first series. He befriended George, who then found out that Tully was the werewolf who had atacked him in Scotland, and passed on the curse.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2010 11:47

duh

of course

WingedVictory · 03/03/2010 18:33

Diva, I think Daisy must have gone looking for Cara (the one whose teeth Mitchell knocked out, because she had broken the "ceasefire". He was supposed to have killed her. Daisy was pressuring him strongly to do so, so must have checked afterwards). Cara said Daisy had brought a kid to her, and had healed her. The two must have set out to find Herrick's grave, then bled over it, to resurrect him. Cara was just saying that blood would resurrect Herrick, as it had healed her (C).

As for Daisy's motivation, I guess (1) Cara persuaded her (Cara had a personal pash for Herrick, and she never would have been "punished" under his regime), (2) Daisy could not put Ivan above Herrick (Ivan was no kind of leader), so did her duty (after all, Herrick might do a mass resurrection later).

The presence of the two women at the grave was so like the imagery of the witnesses of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection (I think it was Mary Magdalene and possibly Mary His mother), that it must have been deliberate.

I think that's it. Unless I've included a howler someone else would like to tell me about?

Divatheshopaholic · 03/03/2010 19:05

WV, Thank you very much.
Im from non-religious family. My daughter 4 yr old was telling me about Jeezus and Blenham etc... last xmas She was not impressed with mummy.
I thought Cara cant be vampire or suck blood without teeth

WingedVictory · 03/03/2010 19:29

I was a bit surprised, too, but guess her teeth re-grew.

Laughed at Blenham. Do you think she meant Jesus was born in the stables at Blenheim Palace?! Apparently, that was where Winston Churchill was born (not in the stables, obviously), so guess he could be Brian to Jesus.... Oh, dear, just a bit more blasphemy this evening on MN - very sorry, it's just happening! I have got a horrble piece of work to do later, and am not looking forward to it. DS is not even in bed yet, either; he's lying on the floor, shouting at his book (in a nice, excited way)

Divatheshopaholic · 03/03/2010 20:35

Oh,is it Blenheim? When she said that i though of Mulberry blenheim bag, quite nice little bag
Apparently Karl Marx said "religion is a drug", thats what my dad used to tell me.

hellsbells76 · 03/03/2010 21:07

I wondered if cara had conned daisy into thinking they were resurrecting ivan, not herrick? Watching it again, the looks on their faces as herrick emerges are very different - cara jubilant, daisy very much not...

JackBauer · 03/03/2010 21:21

Oh. Only just caught up on iplayer!

Russell is awesome and I was all weepy at the end, had to quickly read some threads on here before DH took the piss

So. When's the next series?????!!!!

cordonbleugh · 03/03/2010 21:27

probably not til next January Jack

But go on the BBC being human website, the blogs on there are brilliant, and they regularly update with behind the scenes clips, interviews with cast etc just to whet fans' appetite!

blogs here

JackBauer · 03/03/2010 21:52

I have stayed off the site for a few days as I hadn't caught up. Need to see if there is a new CENSSA video from Lloyd!

WingedVictory · 04/03/2010 10:35

Why would we be able to help you with DH's taking the piss, Jack? Is it becoz we is sadder than u and help make your interest more respectable?

Or do you get all dry-eyed contemplating the level of detail being discussed here? Anyway, nice to see you!

Diva, I thought "Blenheim" was her getting "Bethlehem" wrong! That's why I started embroidering madly on the theme....

What are we going to do next? When is Toooorchwood on, and when is the next Doctor Whooooo on; I'm going to get boooored...!

bewareofthedog · 04/03/2010 12:35

I didn't watch Being Human from the start; I came to it halfway through the first series. I just happened to put in on iplayer one day when looking for something to watch.

In that particular episode, George was at hospital trying to chat up a co-worker (Nina? I can't remember), and he said her hair smelled minty, like a polo mint, then he asked her 'do you have a hole?' It made me laugh out loud and I was hooked.

The mixture of terror and humour is fantastic. I'm going to miss it

WingedVictory · 04/03/2010 14:13

Oh, well, at least Scary Steven (Moffett) is in charge of Doctor Who now, so maybe we'll get some more scary things like Blink and silence in the library. It is good fun, being scared, isn't it? And it's on the i-player, so we time-shifting parents won't miss it! I love the BBC.
