I thought that was really good BUT . . . am now wondering about the lack of humour in it. Maybe it was because it was the opener and they had a lot of issues to deal with. Will have to wait till next week to know fully but am just concerned that they are making it too dark as there just wasn't any humour or light relief like there normally is.

Am not complaining though as it was an awesome episode. The wolf changes and that bit with that poor guy in the chamber were quite gruesome too! And George being bad reminded me of the season 2 opener of Buffy when she was all bitchy with everyone after killing the Master.

That man in the chamber was AWFUL! I hid for most of it. Similar to coolasfudge but instead of a cushion I pulled my dressing gown hood down over my face!

I agree wintera - was definitely lacking in the old lightness of touch.
Although did rather like, "Let's get someone to eat on the way home"

AND had dream last night with naked Mitchell in it. Not just naked but in my bed!
Was so relieved to have lovely dream for a change

there were a couple of funny touches, annie telling nina that there was a werewolf in buffy called nina and annie in the pub

am confused as to who the new werewolf hunters are. great start to the series i thought

There wasn't a werewolf called Nina in Buffy though, she was in Angel /pedantic.

What about Doris from Gavin and Stacey turning up at the end too??!!

I love the new series of Being Human! Werewolves and vampires are very conniving, how could he cheat on his girlfriend with that weird vampire?

How is anyone finding the new series? Looking better than the first series?

It was ok, but not wow, or brilliant. Just hope it gets better. Definately missing old humour, it was quite depressing at times, and the werewolf guy in experiment was gruesome

OOh, just caught up on iplayer. Seriously, watch the Censsa stuff I linked to above, it's on You Tube as well. It is a lot more clear what it was about, it's the assistant guy and basically explains how they found them 'properly'
