are you ready? I don't think I am. I think I might cry - especially after the scene with wilf in the cafe and the added poignancy (sp?) of to be or not to be on boxing day.

do we have theories? or are we just content that the world is populated by John Simm giggling look a likes (especially as we are all, obviously, at least 1/2 timelord and therefore unchanged.)

I'm ready but I so so hope that RTD is going to do better than the first part, which was a bit rubbish. I'm devastated enough that DT is leaving (and rumour has it the TARDIS interior will be changed ), without him going out on a duff episode.

Well, the master race thing will be sorted very quickly imo. It's such a dead-end as a plot device, though great for a cliffhanger. I'm resigned to the fact that I will cry like a babby, despite my family laughing at me for it. I shall break my little heart over Wilf, I really will. Long live Cribbins!

I have a list of 'won't's'. As in things I def don't want to happen. 1. Donnas brain to melt. 2. Wilf to kill anyone. 3. David tennant to regenerate. 4. Any mention of doctors parents. 5. Rose to turn up. Again. 6. Time lords to bugger off back into the abyss. 7. Me to be a weeping wreck and for children to scornfully go, 'it's's only a tv programme mum!'

I do want stuttering bloke from the library to turn up and claim donna!

the background narration in the first epsisode made it feel like the X factor then increasingly Harry Hill

though thought Bernard Cribbins was good

Sadly we gave up half way through first episode. We were bitterly disappointed with how bad it was.

Don't want 10.5 to die and leave Rose alone

Don't want it all to be about Rose at the end.

Dd and I came up with a theory this morning but it's all our own work based on no evidence whatsoever so not a spoiler.

We reckon that when the Doctor said Donna would die if she remembered everything, he didn't take into account that she is part Time Lord now (Doctor/Donna). So, she could regenerate, after all Jenny did and the Doctor didn't expect that either did he? (although we were yelling at the telly LOL). Also the companion in the publicity photos with 11 has red hair...
Perhaps we are getting carried away! Either that or we should send in some scripts
