Just started watching this last night. I do like it, but I think Ann should speak more normally and less 1950s Sci Fi robot. I know she’s supposed to be an early model but we have gadgets that speak in a normal human voice right now.

Hopefully she’ll get an upgrade!

Have watched the first episode. Interesting and scary premise. We have a rota of 24 hour carers for my MIL. Costs a fortune.

Michael isn’t a great character. Too annoying. Kevin was irritating but not to this degree and was balanced by Julia and Liz. Doesn’t really work here. Shame as the actor is versatile, another Terror fan!

I can’t wait to have a robot who could drive me around.

Only watched 2 episodes but love it so far.

That would be amazing! Though self drive cars will probably come in before we have robots that drive us!

Hilariously funny , so many LOL moments , yet so many poignant moments

And the last laugh right at the end

I LOVED it. I laughed; I cried. Just wonderful. I agree the son character is very annoying but the juxtaposition of his narcissism and Linda's genuine connection with Sue was one of the things that made it special.

I keep watching snippets that come up on Facebook. I've seen the whole series but still laugh. I love the changing room one. And the apprentice references. I haven't watched it but know the premise. So funny 😁

Yes. Like many others, we only watched it because of Diane Morgan, Sue Johnstone and Sarah Kendall. The premise and the way it was pitched sounded duff, but DP and I decided to give it a go based entirely on those 3 and it was well worth it.

I don't think it would have worked with another group.

Finished watching it was night - loved it! It made me cry though as my dad died in 2024 and now my mum lives alone. I wish we could a Linda for her.

Completely agree - he was awful! So horrible to his mum. He deserved his horrible wife.

I want to watch it because I love Sue Johnstone, but I really can’t stand Diane Morgan. I find her very cringy

Give it a go, it's quite different to, say, Mandy, or Philomena Cunk.

its those exact two characters that I find cringey!

We’ve finished it , mostly loved it but the son is really unpleasant ( loved him in Motherland) . I’d like to see a second series with Melody staying as well .
