starts next week sun 14 June
on sun mon tue and same following week so 6 parts

On the surface, JESS is the ultimate yummy Mummy, she has a loving husband , adorable kids and a tight net group of friends all living in posh London

But when JESS’s baby is rushed to A&E things quickly unravel

one of the friendship group Liz is a medic who treats a little girl and she suspicious how she got the injury

LIZ has got to follow protocol as a doctor but she doesn’t realise how quickly it spirals and there is no going back

To make things harder, LIZ and JESS are not that good friends

they’ve kind of fallen out of each other’s lives

jess is played by Diane Kruger and Liz by our fav JJ - Jo Joyner

I started watching it at the weekend and am now three episodes in. I didn't recognise Patrick Baladi at first. He looks so much older. Pre The Office I remember watching him in a wartime series where he was very dashing.
In the first episode one of the women complains to her husband that he came back really late & didn't text her. He replied that she would have been annoyed at him disturbing her. Who doesn't use Do not Disturb settings overnight nowadays?

I don't

But Do not Disturb sets your phone on silent so you don't need to remember to change it to silent every night. I've used Do not Disturb since I was first pregnant 19 years ago and was cross when I was woken up by a text. You can always set it so that certain numbers can still get through.

Tbh I’m used to turning phone to silent - it’s a habit iyswim

I'm going to start the final episode now. It's definitely a cut above the average channel 5 drama. It's rare I get past the first 2 or 3 episodes. I only managed the first one of the recent Eleanor Tomlinson one.
I knew that the senior doctor looked familiar. For fellow Coronation Street watchers, he was the corrupt surgeon whom Peter Barlow had dealings with 4 years ago.

Gloriia · 22/06/2026 21:00

I quite like this it keeps you guessing. They're all so fucked up anyone could be guilty.

Those ICU doors annoy me though, there's a fob swipe entry thing but they just seem to flap open all the time. No chance could she have just unhooked her from devices and walked out but maybe it was another one of her paranoid illusions and she didn't really..

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/06/2026 21:05

I was thinking the same but seems she did take her

bit terrible security for a baby under ss

that’s not a baby in that purple blanket - so fake

All is not ok with Connor parents. Dad is a bully. The one who threw wife in the pool

and seems his adventure isn’t going well as her phone is cut off and no money in account

It's going to be something like that isn't it?

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/06/2026 13:05

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/06/2026 13:06

Jess is saying she has a condition

sounds like pnd and Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

OP posts:
Cheeseandolivesplease · 23/06/2026 14:40

Thing is, regardless of her mental health, in real life she would be reported to SS for leaving her small toddler and baby at home alone and they most definitely would not "turn a blind eye" to it!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/06/2026 16:03

They only found out last night she went to the shop and left alone

Would it be too obvious for charlotte to be the one at the door?

ilovebrie8 · 23/06/2026 16:35

Thought she was at the pub with Ed at that time.

I did wonder that too, she’s nasty.
