What TV shows have you been unable to get into even though they are meant to be amazing?

For me it’s The Sopranos, The Bear, and Succession. I also gave up on Severance. Just never went back. I don’t get The Bear at all. I haven’t completely written these off and would go back if someone can strenuously argue for them in a way that persuades me!

I can beat that. Watched it through to Season 4 in a binge watch and then just never went back. It was repetitive and I stopped caring

Also The Bear. And Breaking Bad. Persevered with Succession, Stranger Things (started this three times!) and Severance and so glad I did - all amazing and would watch again.

Better Call Saul. Only managed season 1 - just dull and nothing happens.

I would stick up for Peaky Blinders and Schitts Creek. You need, with both, to get past S1

I did have to have three starts with Yellowstone, then I got into it.

THIS!!!!!! I tried so so many times to get into it but absolutely hated it, even though I loved Breaking Bad!

Same. But didn’t have the same issue with the prequels. The new one is called Marshals and I found the first episode dull. There’s also, from the same stable, The Madison and I enjoyed that.

Hmmm... not sure I'd recommend it. Beth makes the series completely unwatchable for me. Also, a farm being run like some kind of murderous mafia clan makes it all nonsensical and all the characters are unlikable (except Jamie who constantly gets shafted and abused).

Also couldn’t with Better Call Saul even though I loved Breaking Bad. I did though find that Breaking Bad needs the full first season to get into.

I could weep for what happened with GOT.
