What TV shows have you been unable to get into even though they are meant to be amazing?

For me it’s The Sopranos, The Bear, and Succession. I also gave up on Severance. Just never went back. I don’t get The Bear at all. I haven’t completely written these off and would go back if someone can strenuously argue for them in a way that persuades me!

I would like to persuade you to watch The Wire if I can??

I love all medical dramas and was impatiently waiting for The Pitt to air in the UK. I just can’t get into it at all. I also gave up on Severance.

Another one for peaky blinders and breaking bad.
Traitors - I mean wtf? Who can be bothered with that?!

The Bear and Downton Abbey. Both dull in different ways.

Severance just asked too much of the audience in terms of being OOOO IT’S ALL SO MYSTERIOUS. I thought.

Severance - just felt like I'd seen similar things done better before!

It’s amazing @AccordingToWhomI’ve watched it several times. I also habitually rewatch The West Wing.

We also call it Silent Shitness in this house. Emilia Fox is so bland.

The wire . I really enjoyed the first two series and then after that I just wasn't too invested. I did also have a newborn so watched a lot of TV but nothing that needed too much focus.

Schitts Creek was funny the times I watched it but I'm not bothered about the whole thing.
SATC had no interest in it

Game of Thrones - I tried . I loved the theme tune . I just couldn't care what happened to any of them.

Loads of these I haven't even started watching , I think "oh I should watch this" but never do .

Peaky Blinders was swearing , nice horses and shagging ,

Breaking Bad and Better call Saul are two of my favourites.

This seems to be most TV series these days, it's all so...moody.

Got 5-6 episodes in to these and gave up...

Line Of Duty I thought was OK for the first 3 seasons and then I got a bit lost. Found them so confusing and lost interest.

Ozark... Both my adult DC raved about this and insisted I watch every last episode, but I watched the first series and just couldn't get into it.

The Walking Dead. Should have been finished after season 3. Should never have had 11 seasons and 177 episodes.

Lost. Good for the first season, then drivel........ Like The Walking Dead, it wildly outstayed its welcome, and people just watched and obsessed over it like sheep. Even when it was shite! 😆

I enjoyed Celebrity Traitors (with Alan Carr) but have never got into the Civilian version.

Strictly Come Dancing. Boring drivel. Same every week, every year, year in year out. 💤😴 Needs scrapping.

Never heard of The Bear.

I LOVE Schitt's Creek, Friends, Broadchurch, Stranger Things, and MAFS. (Some people have mentoned these....)

I did enjoy Breaking Bad too. Game Of Thrones though, I felt went on a bit too long, and was a bit shit towards the end.

Breaking Bad - I watched the first series and thought it was ok. I've tried twice to get into series 2 and I just don't care.

There are also a good few series where I enjoyed the first one, but lost interest midway through the second - Succession and Ozark spring to mind.

It really is an amazing series. The final episode is the best ending to a long running series I've ever seen!

Just kept wanting it to be a new series of The Detectorists.
