I don't think anybody's mentioned this, but could Reece be Fiona's son? I say this on no more evidence than Reece is a Welsh name (though different spelling), but he's about the right age. If he doesn't go tonight, that will raise my suspicions especially if Fiona persuaded Rachel to keep him.

That might explain why he wasn’t more upset at her uselessness at the task.

I thought he seemed pretty upset! And then resigned. But if she was going to consciously fail the task why would she choose her own son as the one to save. They got to choose who to save.

In which case he wouldn’t be murdered, but its too late if he is their pick for last night.

It may not have been in the presence of or got back to the traitors.
So he may have said something but this may have been edited out.
But if it is the case that he’s never brought it up to anyone he thoroughly deserves to go.

WonderfulSmith · 08/01/2026 12:50

Checking in.

I don’t think there are any more connections. And yes, I don’t see why they bother as it doesn’t make any odds really.

lostmywayrightnow · 08/01/2026 12:53

You could be right about being Fiona's son, interesting point!

I thought the whole choosing people thing was so brutal, not nice at all. Worse than 'being murdered'.

TillyTrifle · 08/01/2026 12:56

I think he’s too young, I think Fiona would have older children. I think she would seem younger if she had children as young as him if that makes any sense?! I also think they have had enough connections for one season!

I'm a similar age to Fiona and have a 28yr old son, so I don't think he's too young

Fiona has a very high opinion of her abilities as a traitor, she seems to think she is an absolute genius. Yet her dithering on the task yesterday was ridiculous, she is definitely overacting the little old lady role. I had no idea she was only 62!

I like Rachel. I’d like to see her take down Fiona!

I felt so bad for Sam last night. It was really unpleasant leaving one person who no one chose to help, just sitting watching the task. It’s a game of course but that felt like a very low set up. Anyone would feel like utter shit about themselves after that and he clearly did 😢

I agree about that task - I thought leaving one person out was a very cruel set up and must have been horrible for Sam.

JaneJeffer · 08/01/2026 12:58

Did anyone else think Jessie jumping on Jack and wrapping her legs around him was a very intimate thing to do to someone you supposedly just met a few days ago?

samarrange · 08/01/2026 13:04

We're 4 episodes in and only 5 people have been eliminated. 6 if you count whoever is getting murdered overnight. So there will be 16 people alive at day 5's breakfast.

By my calculations there are going to have to be a couple of double murders to get the numbers down to a manageable level for the final. 🍿

Lottapianos · 08/01/2026 13:05

I agree that Fiona seems older than 62, but I think the act she's putting on is more 'ditzy' rather than 'little old lady'.

I like her. She's v funny and charming and I'm enjoying her delight at being able to 'murder' people 😁 she may run out of road soon though with the ditzy act

TillyTrifle · 08/01/2026 13:08

I don’t mean it isn’t possible, it’s mathematically very typical - I just don’t see her as someone who has kids that age. She strikes me as someone who might have had kids younger and they would therefore be older than Reece. Based on nothing at all, of course 🤣

Especially as they have no phone or form of communication with support network and loved ones and go “home” to a hotel room on their own. On last thread someone said they had consultants on mental health, I’m not sure how that one passed by. It didn’t add to the game, it was just very hurtful.

I agree.

I don’t particularly like Sam, but that was uncalled for. I also wonder if it will make others think he’s more likely to be a Traitor if he survives, as the “logic” will be that of course he was the one that nobody chose because the other traitors knew he couldn’t be murdered.

RessicaJabbit · 08/01/2026 13:20

the constant reference to the "Who's Who 1934" is because it's going to be a lever that opens a secret room

jay55 · 08/01/2026 13:32

I thought Fiona switched to being quite arrogant once revealed. The traitors will totally implode and go quickly, they’ve made so many mistakes. Maybe their replacements will be fun.

Sparklesandspandexgallore · 08/01/2026 13:34

I’m loving Fiona, would like her to win. Although I like all the contestants this year.

ilovesooty · 08/01/2026 13:44

Even if Fiona weren't a traitor, she's not a team player. Her "no" when she was told to hand over the skulls was just peevish.

Turbochargednothing · 08/01/2026 13:48

Apologies. I haven’t read the previous thread so this may have been mentioned before but did anyone pick up last night when Harriet and Amanda were debating at the round table Harriet said something along the lines of Amanda ‘prosecuting’ people. I felt like they both knew each others real jobs? Wondering if they’re secret partners….?

Interestingly we never saw Ross’s reaction to finding out Fiona was a traitor. No idea why.

I noticed that aswell. He did also say on uncloaked he didn’t believe Fiona would ever vote him out, with no explanation why he thought that…
Maybe Ross knew Fiona too 🤣

Thanks for the new thread @CaveMum

Thanks for the new thread @CaveMum

Maybe the twist is that Ross is connected to everyone!

@Iwanttohibernate

Angela Scanlon did Strictly a couple of years ago so it's unlikely she will return next year. FWIW I think she is lovely.

She did hand them over though
