There's so much going on it's easy to miss what the characters say sometimes.

Finally caught up with the latest episode after being away for Easter. At this point I can see almost everyone on the show being the one who ends up on a trolley à la Carol in ER.
Exceptions being Mel, Perlah, Princess and Perlah. I also think we will see some drama with the "desk nurse" who came in to help.
BTW, has anyone seen Princess in recent episodes?

Wish I could re-watch ER, but it's not being streamed in Germany. On the other hand, we had HBO Max for three months now and are on the same speed as the US releases.

I am slowly rewatching ER (and trying to avoid Pitt spoilers 😬). It really was ahead of its time. There are some episodes that are still really clear in my mind and given they are over 30 years old, that’s a real testament to the show.

@Maerchentante Princess went home for her 4th July party.
The actress was pregnant when filming so she had to spend most of the episode sat being hid by the desk.

Just watched episode 14. Only one more to go after this 😭😭
So Robby. Oh Robby....
It seems everyone was right that he is suicidal. Poor Robby.
But....so much going on around him that he feels he can't leave them all. Is that good? Or putting pressure on him?
These poor doctors and nurses - when do they get to eat and sleep?
It feels a lot of stuff is building up to a season cliffhanger. Will so much be able to be resolved in the final episode?
Will the pain meds (I think "Advil" is ibuprofen) Langdon took show up on his drug test and cause a problem for him?
Is Santos going to use that scalpel?
Is Jesse going to be released?
Dr Al....well we were right. Some kind of absence seizure. She can't work as a trauma doc if she is having those...can she?
No Baby Jane Doe this episode 👶.
I reckon we will never find out who left her. Social Services will probably come and just take her to foster care and that will be that.
One more week to go....

Do you notice the older nurse/ medic who is in shot often? As they are bringing in new characters and developing them such as the paramedics I wonder if this guy will become relevant. How did Dr Ali who is having epilepsy type absences since age 5 train , qualify and practice medicine at her level. Can't help thinking re :Dr. Robby "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" or some such . Is there something sinister in Whitaker losing his ID ? How sexy is Duke ? And what was Dr. Davinder recording ? Couldn't catch it despite rewinding .

@Nofeckingway all the Facebook fan groups are FULL of theories about Whittaker's ID badge and they've been getting more and more ridiculous as the day goes on.
I just saw this one and it made me almost choke on my drink 😂😂😂

I think Whitaker's badge might just be his bad luck again. Or Santos took it as a joke. I don't think it's nefarious.

I know people with absence seizures. My guess is that they've been controlled by medication until now, so haven't posed a problem for her work, but she's having breakthrough seizures.

Saw a theory that Langdon might use the ID to get drugs . But like bank cards surely if you report it missing they would freeze it ?

Apparently the Doctors can't access the drugs - only nurses.
It's rather amusing. The internet has gone down a whole intense detective show about what happened to the ID.
It will probably turn out someone (Santos?) nicked it for a joke or it simply just fell off.

I guess because of the Emmys there are now a whole set of different sites with all sorts of contents. Guess because Season 1 is only starting here , the buzz is only beginning. Or is Series 2 available.

@spiderlight the scene in episode 13 where Mel kicked the shredder it was apparently not meant to be kicked so hard.
Santos laughs and our lad Whittaker says "Jesus Christ".
It was technically a blooper but they decided to use it.
But if you listen really carefully his American accent drops.

FINAL EPISODE !
I've just finished watching it.
I'm all emotional. None of the storylines have been tied up (except where Whittaker's badge was 😂) so it's a massive load of cliffhangers.....months we have to wait now. Months 😭

So.....free birthing. Insane. Why would any woman do that? When the baby gave her little cry...oh I almost cried too.

The karaoke at the end....just fantastic.
Loved it. A good to way to actually end the series.

Ok....now what am I going to do at 6am every Friday morning?

Just watched it. Gosh that was emotional. Also made me realise I have PTSD from when my son was born 21 years ago and had an Apgar score of 1...

Please tell me series 3 starts with Roby dropping his adorable 4m old daughter off at the hospital day care as he starts his shift.

@Blueskiesnotgrey I felt so emotional even though none of the various stories were actually given closure.
