As the title says really! We’ve had a run of good box sets and can’t find the next thing to watch.

Watched and loved Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, The Bear, Sucession, Slow Horses - basically all the ‘peak tv’ obvious suggestions one or both of us have watched. Sitcoms are good, The Office, Parks & Rec etc are all favourites. Hate anything involving dragons, women in bustles etc.

We’ve got Netflix, prime, Disney+ and Apple TV plus the free services like iPlayer and whatever the channel 4 one is called these days so we aren’t short of services to chose from, we just can’t find something that’s grabbing us and making us want to sit down night after night to binge it.

Dept Q on Netflix is brilliant! The best crime drama I've seen in ages.

Untailored · 31/07/2025 19:17

Untamed on Netflix.

And I second Department Q

CarlaLemarchant · 31/07/2025 19:18

I’ve just finished Untamed on Netflix. Very scenic murder mystery type thing with Eric Bana. Really enjoyed it.

Ginisatonic · 31/07/2025 19:18

Agree on Dept Q.

This City is Ours on iplayer

MyIvyGrows · 31/07/2025 19:18

Ted Lasso, Shrinking

Mumoftwoboysaged4and5 · 31/07/2025 19:19

Just watched the first episode of untamed and really enjoyed it. Loved the scenery!

unsevered67 · 31/07/2025 19:20

Severance is good and a bit different. You need to persevere through the first couple of episodes.
And I really enjoyed Silo.

GasperyJacquesRoberts · 31/07/2025 19:21

I assume you've watched The Good Place? How about things like Derry Girls?

bilbodog · 31/07/2025 19:23

Lessons in chemistry on apple - and the book worth reading too.

stressedteachersos · 31/07/2025 19:23

Jury Duty is great!

cramptramp · 31/07/2025 19:23

just watched the first series of the jury on Netflix. British series from the early 00’s but I can’t remember it. Was really good.

Second silo, first season was amazing.

Fallout was great, very true to the games

We are watching something older, six feet under which has been surprisingly deep.

bigcheesematrix · 31/07/2025 19:24

1883, 1923 and Yellowstone on Netflix.

So many good suggestions already! Dept Q might be a winner.

Seen The Good Place (husband didn’t like it because he’s a weirdo!), Severance, Ted Lasso (so corny but so perfect), This City Is Ours. Watched a few episodes of Silo but didn’t really enjoy it, been meaning to watch Shrinking for ages. Not heard of Untamed, will check it out.

Just started watching Tehran on Apple TV, it’s excellent

Marmite27 · 31/07/2025 19:25

Fubar on Netflix. It’s got Arnie in it, who is sent in to extract his daughter from an under cover gone wrong, when neither of them knew the other was CIA.

TheWitchwithNoName · 31/07/2025 19:25

Dark on Netflix

Gordonsgrin · 31/07/2025 19:28

Fisk
upper middle broghan
Colin from accounts

qotsa · 31/07/2025 19:28

Agree with all above. Also Sons of Anarchy and Animal Kingdom (the series). Black mirror for different, single hour longish episodes. Yellowstone has been a favourite this year for me. This City is Ours and Mobland as pp’s suggested too in top ten ever.

BusWankers · 31/07/2025 19:29

Go old school.

Star Trek: Voyager.
