I saw online they filmed the pairings yesterday, its starting to feel near now .

SCD is the one thing that gets me through the sark
winter months.

It is something to look forward to, Saturday night TV is rubbish so yaay for strictly 😊

I follow la voix and he definitely said they were meeting their partners yesterday, he didn't give anything else away so maybe it wasn't filming .

So they definitely don’t find out partners on the night? I have suspected as much when they have done it as “ the finding out faux excitement”. I’ll start a Spoiler Thread in case then because I didn’t think we’d get couples spoilers til after the Launch Show

No they do those "suprise" videos now don't they ? Sometimes outside locations other times in random community halls, and then appear together on the launch show, I think they have done that since Covid.

Yeah they used to reveal the pairings in the studio on the launch show (although there were always suspicions that people already knew who they were getting) but now it’s all filmed in advance so it’s only a surprise to us (unless you’ve read the spoiler thread of course!)

Why do they still film it at a separate location rather than its own show? I thought people had more genuine reactions on the show so maybe some people's reactions were too genuine 🤣 Does anyone remember Aliona meeting Gregg Wallace?!

Oh I wonder what else went on or maybe EE decided the whole carry on wasn't worth keeping him ? He wont know what to do with himself he has been in it since he was a child.

I'm not sure a one word slur, shared by those you are working closely with, is worth the end of his career. There has been so much worse, unchallenged allegations across the BBC.

It will certainly make celebrities think twice about the ‘opportunity’ that SCD offers….

I think that if (and I mean if) he shared intimate photos of a woman without her consent, there’s that too. Obviously I don’t know whether he did. Likewise the cocaine allegation although many viewers will be meh about that but disgusted about the Down Syndrome slur and any sexual crime that may have occurred.

That describes my stance, anyway. Opinions may differ.

Apologies, I thought this was about the slur. If he has behaved inappropriately in a wider context, fair enough.

I do think there might be more, we might never find out. He works with a girl who has Down Syndrome i don't know how he thought saying what he did was ok.

Hard not to speculate , when the newspaper articles and even the BBC were dropping so many hints back in August. ..about the the serious sexual accusations.
