Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

I’ve heard Dani Dyer, Stacey Solomon, Ashley Cain and Tom Parker Bowles

I think "celebrity" is changing to vaguely well known.

Although I wonder if i am just out of touch i see these reality stars and ive no idea who they are.

I haven’t heard any rumours, and I’ll watch it anyway, but…Stefan Dennis! I’ve a feeling he’ll be quite awful but overly confident.

Hoping this series proceeds with no drama or nice drama (is that a thing?) only.

I didn't enjoy last year at all- thought thw quality was low- so hope they actually get more ringers. Unpopular opinion, I know.

I saw her in Chicago too, she was better than I had anticipated on the singing acting front but still blown out of the water by the lass playing Velma.

velma is a better character isn"t she, i know its meant to be all about Roxy but Velma is much more charismatic imo.

Nice drama I suppose is when a couple are genuinely loved up but there’s no infidelity involved

it’s weird because Natasha and Brendan and Flavia and Matt were both infidelity couples but it was treated as nudge nudge wink wink entertainment at the time…flash forward some years and Katya and Seannnnnn were absolutely pilloried

Sarah and Tasha were both ringy ringers.

To some extent JB was as well, just not as much as Tasha or Sarah.

Yes, I was Team JB and Lauren. Hope Lauren and Kai get great celebs this year. Kai needs someone his own age for once!

I saw the live show and thought Michelle was a stand out dancer as well as Nikita who partnered with Sarah as Vito was injured. I believe Michelle's partner, Simone Arena may be joining as a new pro and he has exceptional experience on DWS Ireland/ Belgium / Italy.

Oh me too. I know this is not a popular opinion but I thought JB was a completely different dancer with Lauren, and he really came alive in some of the later dances, especially the Viennese Waltz.

Definitely agree with Kai and Lauren comments, would like Karen Hauer to get someone who sets everyone alight as well.

I love Lauren she .is a great dancer i did prefer JB with Lauren, nothing against Amy but i agree with you.

If so I do quite like her.
Happy to see the back of both amy and Johannes.

I am not really a fan of Amy’s dance style she lacks oomph. I am sorry for her troubles but I wouldn’t miss her from the roster

Haven’t heard any rumours but would love one of the Ghosts team to in the line up.

Suspect we’ll get Josh Widdecombe at some point as he enjoyed his Christmas stint (and his daughter loves the show), but he’s on tour this autumn so it won’t be this year.

I really don't see the point of new pros as there is already an excess on the bench.

I'd bench Neil and Aljaz and Luba, Nancy and Amy. (I used to looooove Aljaz until he settled on playing ditsy.) I will be mad if Kai and Lauren are benched again.

I used to think it was only fair to spread the ringers and duffers around but I'm past caring about fairness now and think there are some pros who never squander a decent celeb and so I hope they get good ones.

The casting last year was particularly poor. I hope there are more women this year, especially after all the reports of a schoolboy atmosphere backstage last season.
