Immense - will probably watch it again in a day or two. Absolutely loved it -we laughed out loud lots of times!

Loved every minute!! Perfect ending to one of my favourite ever tv shows. Can't wait to watch it again tomorrow!

Loved it! Everyone exactly where they should be at the end, and a low key wedding with just the people we’ve come to love involved. It’s corny to say it but that show was all about love. I haven’t ever watched a series before where I genuinely liked all the main characters, so they managed to create something very special. I think that’s why it’s so beloved.

I didn’t think it was as good as all the hype but did enjoy it. Thought something big was going to happen as they said there could never be another and we’d be able to see why when we watched it but really, they could do another.

It was just perfect. An absolute joy.

I've just watched it and I'm not disappointed in any way.

It was brilliant.

Loved it! I admit the opening scenes had me worried when I saw pain in the arse Sonia, but then her character had to be vile otherwise it wouldn't work, it was a perfect ending though..

Loved it. But I think they should have ended it on a cliffhanger of him asking her to marry him instead!

His mum would have fallen asleep at the wedding and not had a clue what was happening, Rudi would have a baby related drama with Brighton and Aldi

Oh I absolutely loved it!! So so brilliant and much funnier than the last Christmas special. The only thing I would say is it’s a shame they’ve decided to push bryn over from being easily frazzled and stressed to almost aggressively angry, I feel like that isn’t really the Bryn I know!

I thought it was a good ending.

However I don’t like how they made Nessa and smithy the protagonists the last few years. It’s not a storyline I’m emotionally invested in. It’s Gavin n Stacey, not smithy n Nessa.

Also they said once you see it, you will see why they won’t make anymore- but I thought to myself there’s so many stories to tell!

Id love to see Stacey as a MIL, she’d be as mad a Pam. Gavin n Stacey moving to Essex to be closer to Pam and Mick who are getting older etc. Brynn meeting someone, Neil the baby getting a GF etc.

Leave it a few years but they could do back …

The best and most proper “tidy” ending at last! My favourite ending to a tv series they finally got married … only took them 17 years !

I turned it off as everyone looked really old - and that made me feel really old

Dave and Gwen???? Felt like they shoehorned him in. 5 years what's her face and smithy engaged did I miss the explanation for such a long engagement?

Well I think it's because they're not core cast, they've only been small parts.

i think the 'reasons' were his mum not really wanting be there & just wanting to go home and his sisters two kids being sick.

yes. I did, I cried a tiny bit (I'm at a friends & would have had the piss ripped out if me, it would have been different had I been home alone) the bit I cried was ness saying goodbye to Neil - the baby.

I liked it but I also liked the ending of series 3. Nessa and smithy respecting each other and being great co parents.

Was worried it would disappoint me but it didn't- really enjoyed it.
