Vito is taller than some of the pros but that didn't stop him being placed with Ellie last year.
He therefore could be with Toyah, Punam or Sarah
Along with Neil and Gorka.
Gorka and Punam - might be too close to his partnership last year (Nikita - in that both novices and BAME - the latter should make no difference to the voting but each year we're told the GBP vote out women of colour first. I don't know whether they'd put Gorks in as a popular pro with someone who might be a duffer (no disrespect, I know she's at the gym).
Neil will be on his third (last?) chance. He went out with Nadia as first boot last time. They might wish to avoid that and give him someone with experience.
But Punam knows Gorks and Neil from Morning Live. She might have requested one of them.
She also iirc comes to the North West so Gorks would be a fit.
But if in Scotland, Vito would be the better fit as he doesn't have kids. He is also due a duffer.
Toyah is an eccentric show-off. Either awesome or cringe (look at her youtube videos for what I mean). I think I'll like her but I also think she might be marmite.
Her videos and personality would suit Vito or Neil but it could make either unbearable if they're both hyper. Neil would go along with the videos for sure. Vito would also. Gorks might be a better fit in terms of containing her/balancing the energy (no disrespect to Toyah. But Full energy Toyah and Full energy Neil or Vito. Yowsers!). Although on paper the oldest and therefore duffer for Vito, Toyah has musicality and can move. I've seen her. Dark Horse.
Sarah is also on paper a fit for Vito as not a natural ringer but has some dance experience from younger and probably still has some goodwill from her Miranda fanbase.
Vito therefore could be with any of them.
My own preference would be
Toyah and Neil
Punam and Vito
Gorka and Sarah
but it is strange Neil's been taken off the bench so I cannot rule out Punam and Neil and it being a personal request.
I so think Carlos and Toyah would have been fabulous so am a tad disappointed not to see that, if the benching rumours are true.
