Unfortunately I can't use frozen mash or preprepared mash because I am on a low FODMAP diet. I thought Smash would be a godsend. Although, having just looked up the diet, I think I'm doing a half arsed version but it seems to work. Of course, I could make actual mash ...

Someone told me the frozen mash from Iceland is very good - the shop,obviously. If I was on my own I might be tempted.

Comfort eating... none of these contestants think about comfort food like I do!! Who wants fish and stew etc when they are feeling ill?

None of them made chicken soup with noodles, would have been a good excuse to tell a nanna story.
