When Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch) move into an upscale neighbourhood, they find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety.

But soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw).

As time goes on, these two couples get increasingly close to each other and one fateful night, become sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever…

There is a milllion + selling book with the same title but I think this is a different plot.

Eleanor Tomlinson is interviewed in The Times magazine today about the series and the sex is described as "wild" and its a "sex thriller".

The article also mentions Outlaws in which she stars and that it will be back for a third Series which pleases me greatly!

It's not based on Shari Lapena's book. It's based on Saskia Noort's book which is only available in Dutch. I think the Dutch title translates to "New Neighbours ". Looking forward to it.

All episodes will be a available to binge immediately but for slow pacers 2 episodes a week.

FWIW I recommend C4 Walter Presents, Series 1 of 'The Swingers' for the original Dutch version.
