THIS IS A TV PACED THREAD

New drama. On Mon and Tue for 3 weeks

the six part series is an addictive, emotional roller coaster and looks at how we never know what goes on behind closed doors.

When Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch) move into an upscale neighbourhood, they find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety.

But soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw).

As time goes on, these two couples get increasingly close to each other and one fateful night, become sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever…

Starring Sam Heughan (Outlander, Suspect), Eleanor Tomlinson (The Outlaws, Poldark), Jessica De Gouw (Pennyworth, Our Man from Jersey) and Alfred Enoch (Tigers, How To Get Away with Murder), the first looks have been released for The Couple Next Door which is coming this Autumn to stream and watch live on Channel 4.

I think it was obvious from the start that they were grooming them to sleep with them, and that she'd get pregnant. Then they added in a bonkers second story with the dodgy police.

It's really awful and really good at the same time.

If only we had nice housing developments like the one they used in Holland. It has an American vibe about it but the homes are not as spaced out as in US.

It is! The number of times me and DH have gone ' Thus is such crap' and then watched the next episode! Like what's the point of the Hugh Dennis character, or the secret son storyline or even the criminal side hustle?

I watch it for the plot especially when he is in uniform, on a motorbike, in the rain.

I totally forgot they had a son until last night! Where was he on the day they had their trip to the beach - the sort of trip you'd normally take your child 🤔?!

We do have some housing like that in the UK, but it too comes with the £1m price tag like the houses in the show!
