The location reminds me of the film Don’t worry Darling with Harry Styles. I think it’s meant to make it seem more ‘off’ than it already is!
I’m in Ireland and have lived in a couple of estates and it just wouldn’t be the same if it was filmed somewhere like that. The acting is a bit wooden but it’s very watchable. We only have one episode left. Ran out of wine last night.

I'm sorry, I watched ahead.

I have to say that the acting in the last episode was better. Especially one scene between Becka and Danny when I thought both actors excelled in the emotion of the scene.

On reflection the series got better and better as it went along.

Yeah the acting in the first episode was woeful. Definitely got better as it went on. It’s just the sort of thing you just have to watch every now again. It’s a bit shit but you’d be glued to it all the same.

I have binged the whole lot too - the acting was so variable, between massively wooden and really quite good. The plot also lurches around and I did find myself rolling my eyes quite a lot.

Jessica de Gouw has a few nice little clips from filming on her Instagram - the one where she’s trying the drive the VW combi onto the beach is very funny.

Yes! She also has a weird vein in her eye when she grins too hard.

I find her extremely irritating
actually missed a few episodes due to her character

It's a weird drama anyway, I'm finding it hard to be invested in any of them tbh

They are all pretty unpleasant. As Pete said, there's nothing so suburban as shagging the neighbours!

Pete actually alluded to it - he said he had the problem in the first or second episode.

Crikey Danny's life is up sh*t creek - a child he hadn't told his wife about.
Dodgy dealings with gangsters.
His wife and child at risk from said gangsters.
Huge money issues.
Extra curricular activities his boss has already had suspicions about.
His wife being ostracised and losing work because of her activities.
His neighbour Pete hating him because of what happened with Evie and is now on to the dodgy goings on at the security place.
And finally his one night with Evie appears to have led to pregnancy.
She got the results fairly quickly though I suppose some time had elapsed as creepy neighbour was back from hospital.

A Ring doorbell or some such would have been a good idea as a poster suggested.
I feel sorry for Becka's and Danny's son who gets little attention from them.

It's like a soap opera on speed.
