I'm up to episode 4 at the moment (my lips are sealed) thinking it was the Shari Lapena book but with a bit of artistic licence! Obviously should have realised much earlier it's a completely different story.

I think it's a good attempt at a Leeds accent. I read in an interview that he found the accent was a challenge cos they were filming in Belgium and the Netherlands, so there were so many accents in his ears.

Seems to be a remake of the Dutch series "Swingers." The first season of it is a wild ride! I remember the Dutch original too well so may take a rain check on this.
