Ok I admit I'm obsessed!

What is your favourite motherland episode ?

I love the Amanda Christmas one, the Halloween Lee mead one, the pig one and the Amanda's tik took dance one. All binge watched this morning again.

All of them are great! I love anything with Anne (Philippa Dunne) finally turning on Amanda too and Liz’s useless ex-DH Lee too.

It was nice to see Amanda interacting and finding some common ground with Tamara but also the scene at the end where she’s genuinely consoling and saying lovely things to Julia about her mum dying is really heartfelt and you can see a lot of Amanda’s brusque, bitchy behaviour is learned from her own mum (Joanna Lumley).

Also love Maggie McCarthy as Anne’s mum.

Is Tamara the same actress we see Jonny meeting in the cafe and the one at Christmas?

I love Liz she’s a great character. The actress who plays her was in Mandy that was really funny too.

Best line ever comes from Anne; “who hasn’t dreamed of that curly head between her thighs?”

The pig episode is hysterical. If I want to cheer myself up, I replay the bit when Kevin wrestles the red hot pig out of his Icelandic (or whatever it was) fire pit, drags it into the lounge and screams “here’s your pig you selfish bitches! And Bill!”

I'm not sure if that's the same Tamara but she looks different. She's Steven Mangans wife in the Christmas one. Really want Stephen mangan to do a cameo or something as Amanda's new boyfriend. It would be hilarious!

The first one when liz cuts her finger off….hilarious

I don’t have a favourite episode but I love the bit when Liz tells her little boy to use a magazine for his pizza because they “aren’t animals”.. and Julia’s shoe shopping last minute 😂

I could watch the holiday home/pig one on repeat. So so funny

Another vote for the holiday/ pig one. So many laugh out loud moments and so so relatable.

My biggest lol was when Julia messages her client saying shes going into a hospice due to an almighty autocorrect fail!

The Halloween/Lee Mead episode was absolutely brilliant.

They're all so very accurate it's hilarious. I so wish they'd do a series 4

Did you know there is a spin off show starting called Amandaland?

I really liked that story line too. I love how Kevin evolves and in the end he's not such a loser after all.
Favourite episode...maybe the kids birthday party with Caterpillar cake and the animal man who only had cats 😆

Going to drag the thread down and say the one where her mother collapsed gave me chills. Amazing programme, ADORE the way Liz says ‘Kevin’ 😅😅😅

My favourite is shitshop and the pilot with her eating the left over spag bol and then asking for an omelette!

I love shalimar PR guy. He's so happy that he can be helpful and deal with Julia's call and before he knows it he's basically working for her.

Also how more chaotic Julia's clothing gets in that episode - that's how i feel when I'm working from home some of my outfits look a bit like her - i started making more effort after i realised that!
