Ok I admit I'm obsessed!

What is your favourite motherland episode ?

The shop one is so funny. 'Sparkly bubbles? Bubbly sparkles?'

The Pool Party! Everything is happening for everybody, it’s such a brilliant episode. I’m absolutely obsessed too, it genuinely brings me so much joy watching it.

And Julia keeps saying Leeeee Meeeeeeeed! Brilliant!

The birthday party episode where Julia is stressing over a homemade cake and Liz tells her to buy 2 Colin the caterpillar cakes, shove them together and call it a human centepide. Or words to that effect - it's been a while!

The actor who plays Anne should win am award for that scene in the pool when she's waffling on with her tit hanging out. 😀

When Julia says she's providing entry level parenting for her children.

When Anne explains she used to be Head of product development for. GSK and Amanda is still convinced Anne used to work at Greggs.

So.many great lines from that show.

Too hard to pick an episode, they’re all so bloody good. One scene that really tickled me was when Kevin was talking about his wife wanting a loft conversion “a spare room to get away from my bloody breathing” I think it’s because it’s so close to home 😂

Is it just me or does Liz live in a different house all the time?!

That puzzled me. I thought I saw her in a flat later on, but a house initially. She could have moved I suppose, but it wasn't mentioned, that I remember anyway

One of the houses Julia knocks at and her mum opens the door, she asks what her mum is doing there and she says she's house sitting for someone.

Liz was definitely in a flat in the pilot because Julia spotted Kevin from the window and was shouting down to him. Then there's the Christmas special wheres she's out on the flat balcony when the Shepherd turns up and she's waving at him. And it always looks like a flat from the inside. Think her ex got the house and moved in Debbie-Lousie 🤣

I love when the ex starts going out with Debbie Louise and Liz wants to meet her in case she's a psychopath. He says he doesn't go out with psychos and she replies, 'what are you talking about, of course you f*cking do!'

Yes a other brilliant line. She's so dry with it 🤣

For anyone who hasn't seen it, Liz (not liz but the actress) has her own comedy called Mandy. It's on BBC and is rather funny

Another brilliant scene is in the Christmas episode and Julia, Liz, Kevin and Meg are thrown out but the party continues. They call back for paint and Anne answers the door:

"... nothing...Jesus Christ, err, I'm doing the bins"

The Halloween episode where Manus walks out of the toilet and everyone has gone. Proper tickles me every time.

What are the children's names? I can only remember Manus

Julia’s are Ivy and James, I think.
liz’s is Charlie

Liz has Charlie and I think her other is Max
Anne has Darius and her baby is called Neve but I think its spelt Niamh isn't it?
Kevin has two girls..one is called Rose..not sure about the other
Meg has Jade but no idea on her other kids names
Amanda has Manus and Georgie (I think!)
