Ok I admit I'm obsessed!

What is your favourite motherland episode ?

The one with the swimming pool party, simply because it's the pool my son has his lessons at

I didn't clock lee mead either lol

I like the one where Julia's in laws turn up to 'help' and make her more stressed. I can identify with that. I think anyone who thinks Julia is horrible have never been that stressed juggling lots of things before. She is unpleasant at times, but I feel sorry for her.

Halloween

The last episode of series 3. When Anne stands up to Amanda. It’s just really funny all round. Also lots of Kevin who is hilarious.

The mothers day episode. I felt just like Julia in that episode.

I love them all but the ones that stand out are the in-laws, the swimming pool, #shitshop, and no mum left behind. I'm sitting here laughing to myself just thinking of them

100% this. She's just stressed upto the eyeballs with an awful manchild of a selfish twat for a husband and next to no family help. The actor's kids refuse to watch motherland for this reason, she's said in interviews, as they hate seeing their mother that stressed. I see a lot of my stressed self in her. The episode where she screams into towels on the bathroom is just her at her lowest. No wonder she develops a massive crush on Garry with 2 r's.

Megs big night out is probably one of my favourites. 😂

The party she nearly cancelled where the child is sick upstairs. The early episode eating leftover spaghetti !

I love the character of Julia! I don't know if she'd be my first choice of friend though.That would be Liz or the man. I can't remember his name!

The Calvary is my favourite. When they talk about moving to London to help and she rushes across to pull up the 'for sale' sign across the road. The scene in the restaurant when they see miss lamb dining alone and Julia offers to pay for her meal then all her friends turn up ! 'It's like Saturday night takeaway over there' !

The birthday party. 'Animal, animal, Anniimmmal'

Yup, her husband is a bellend. I was disappointed at the end of the Garry the plumber episode when she came to her senses and she and her husband got a bit romantic. He's a selfish dick.

The one where she takes her PIL out to a restaurant and sees the school admin lady and offers to pay for her but then a load of her mates turn up! We often do Julia's face with her teeth bared fake smile as we raise our glasses of wine 🤣

Then when her FIL orders soup (coz I always order soup and it does everyone's head in as it takes ages to eat) and then her MIL asks who on earth Kevin actually is.

God I love it.
