Why does no one stop the interns doing stupid things? I know that nurse did when the old lady had a dnr but in the or not one nurse said I don't think you should be opening this guy up. Surely the anaesthetist is senior enough to say no.

But yes, there’s always been “deference” from senior nurses to baby surgeons, even if on occasion the nurses say “a surgeon would usually do this here”

And mostly because there wouldn’t be a show in the interns couldn’t do crazy things!

(There’s not a chance in hell someone wouldn’t have sued over Devon’s death in s18 - whether it was Schmitt, Webber, the hospital or the foundation that they sued.)

So I've just watched station 19, the one where the ballroom floor collapses. Just as carina delivered the baby, the shot cut to Sullivan's head coming up from the fallen floor, and just for a second I thought crikey, that's an ugly baby . Took my brain a second to register the bald head wasn't the baby!

As soon as I heard the girl tell Gibson she was giving the baby up for adoption I was like, bet carina and Maya end up adopting it (jumping through very few hoops like jo in Grey's)!

@LadyLadyBird1973 - I thought the same! That was quite nicely done, if it was deliberate.

Ohh I never thought of that for s19. But it makes sense. Both shows had dramatic endings. Really hope teddy's ok mainly so i Owen doesn't whine. I have quite liked her since she became chief. Hope jacks ok too he's a favourite of mine on s19.
