Yes. Surely for a surgery this big they would fly in some other orthopaedic surgeons. I wouldn't be happy risking it all with a bunch of surgeons who haven't done orthopaedic for several years.

I love the new interns . They remind me of the early days . I'm glad they are actually getting storylines instead of being extras in the Meredith show. Link and jo, Bailey and Ben are ok. Teddy, Owen, Maggie, winston , Amelia are really dull. I like the s19 and greys crossover.

Yeah, I randomly rewatched the start of s18 (fall out from the multi ring proposal) and, although amelia should have been more honest about her fears, to do that at Maggie’s wedding with a bunch of kids involved - yowza!

Link was a breath of fresh air when he was all confident and flirting with anyone that moved.
The killed a sports star depressed baby daddy is less entertaining for me.

Yeah, he was going to take the job with the Mariners (?) that Link turned down when amelia was pregnant, then it was off during covid so he came back, but I think he eventually went and did it.

I also want to know if Lucas is supposed to be the child itv of Nancy, Kathleen or Liz!

I might cynically assume they will decide when they want his parents to visit and see which actress is available then 😀

In season 19, episode 3, Lucas mentions that he's from Connecticut, which is also where Nancy lives. If Nancy still resided in the state past her last appearance in season 15, then she is most likely to be revealed as Lucas' mother.
However, Grey's Anatomy has been willing to throw their storylines for a loop in the past, meaning Lucas being from Connecticut may be a misleading fact to make viewers think Nancy is his mother. It's still just as possible for Kathleen or Liz to be revealed as his mom despite the current bits of evidence indicating it is Nancy. While it could be a misleading fact, evidence indicates a high probability that Grey's Anatomy season 20 could reveal Nancy as Lucas' mother.

They probably all live in Connecticut 😀

Kathleen was close enough to Nancy to come for dinner at short notice with Link-as-Owen (or vice versa, I forget which of them hosted)

I do not appreciate a cliffhanger, although I don't care much about Teddy. But if she dies, Owen will be so tedious moping around.

I was glad Bailey won the award for that. But why was Meredith wearing such a boring dress compared to Maggie, Bailey, and even Amelia.

I'm not sure I can be bothered with another Richard drinking storyline.

I like all the new interns though. And did enjoy the finale overall. I assume Nick is now leaving Greys to move to Boston?

I wished that it was Owen not Teddy on the table.

I agree, dead Owen would be better. I'm assuming Teddy doesn't die, they have no other chief of surgery options!
As an aside, are they chief of surgery, or chief of the whole hospital? Or is chief of the whole hospital just called chief of surgery? Because sometimes it seems like surgery is their absolute focus, but in episodes like the shooting, or the merger stuff, it's seemed like the chief (derek and Richard) was in charge of the whole hospital.

Station 19 was the perfect opener to this, Bailey was so cool in that and so overwhelmed in this (though don’t think too much about flight times and schedules 😛)

I think Bailey missed her commercial flight because of the floor collapse, but was able to catch a lift with Catherine on the private jet.

Yeah, but I almost got the impression from s19 that they were on the same night, because otherwise surely they could’ve flown in the morning of the Harper Avery Catherine Fox Awards rather than leaving early from the ball (the original Ben and Bailey plan)
