It's like Christmas has come early! It's looks tense from the trailer/advert. So sad it's the last one though-or is it just Perez's last series? Love Tosh. Can't stand Sandy. I'd love to visit up there.

Is it still thought that Connor set up the bomb in his caravan? Before we found out his demise I was kind of wondering if someone else had set it up in order to kill him off that way.

I don't think they had any reason to think someone other than Connor booby trapped the caravan - now they've found that he was tortured/murdered they might look at that. Unless he was booby trapping it for whoever kidnapped him...?

Dodgy Waste Disposal man was off somewhere with a van load of blue canisters like the ones in the caravan but that's most likely a red herring.

The late Bryd and her mum were/are the environmental activists. Connor was assisting. Someone was 'after' Bryd as much as they were after Connor. Still think Martin Photographer is a detective.

Martin Compston might make an adequate replacement for DH but I'd prefer Martin Freeman. It's a sandy-haired kind of role.

This may not be appropriate, but is anyone irked by the fact that it seems to be slowly narrowing down to the baddies being the only 2 black people on Shetland?
Not loving Dougie's girlfriend...did there not used to be something between him and the old/new fiscal?

Does anyone else think that Flirty Nursey could be involved? On an island crawling with suspects she is the only one flying under the radar - can go anywhere without suspicion. Theory - she nursed Connor when he tried to commit suicide in Glasgow, started a relationship with him which quickly turned obsessive, followed him to Shetland & then became furiously jealous when he got involved with someone his own age. She may have an accomplice. If you replay the first episode Connor isn’t that into Bryd at the launch but when Perez watches a video of him at the beach there is a woman he really is into. Plus Perez’s description of The Wulver to Nursey in ep 1 is someone who conceals their identity but is half man/half beast.(or half human/ half beast) Also suspicious of the way she swanned up late to meet Perez the night of the caravan explosion. Admittedly he had completely forgotten they were supposed to be meeting, but even so. As the island sinks under the weight of all the red herrings, could this be the big reveal?

Well Perez wouldn't be the first detective to fall in love with a wrong un. Morse had form for that didn't he?

We've still got two episodes to go, so although the artist is currently looking like chief suspect, sure that will be disproved shortly. I wondered if it was his partner (the woman played by the actress who was in Eastenders). OR the woman who is Donnie's ex (why has she just show up out of the blue?).

something has happened in her past though as she said that Lloyd had saved her 15 years ago but that was 15 years after the Braer though.
