Anyone else excited about Torchwood tonight?

In the continued absence of Dr Who and the luscious David Tennant, I am looking forward to Torchwood tonight and the almost as gorgeous Captain Jack. Bring it on!

How can you not love Owen?

I appreciate that Captain Jack is very handsome and am looking forward to seeing James Marsters but Owen has a certain something

I loved him as Guppy in Bleak House too, but he's just not generally swoony hero material - good face for character acting. ALthough I do still remember him pushing whatserface up against the tree in the one with the cannibals last time, and thinking for a while maybe he was sexy. But it wore off.

Well, after getting excited because I'm doing jury service this week and therefore not in work tonight, I've now discovered they're televising West Ham/Man City at the same time. I can't deprive DH, it's not like WH get their games shown that often so, I'm going to have to wait until after the game. If I MN I'm going to get tempted by this thread, so I'll have to read some fanfic and eat icecream instead

but Owen does have a certain something , it definatly started after the scene against the tree though

Torchwood - set up to protect GB from 'aliens' after Queen Vic meets the Doctor in Scotland.

Cardiff TW - main TW office after TW1 (in Canary Wharf) gets destroyed by Darlek/Cybermen/Rift in DW S2 - sits over space/time rift and deals with alien driftwood that gets sucked through.

Capt jack had issues re Doctor abandonment, and has been stuck in Gb since 1869(?) waiting to have it out with him. S1 was a bit moody because of it. Hopefully that's now been resolved as at the end of S1 he ran off with said Doctor (see end of DW S3)

So......team don't know where Jack was/is, all it's all set up for his return

OMG I didn't realise it was on tonight- just spotted this thread and am very very happy! a potential Spike snog - suddenly January seems worth living in I am so sad I paid to see James Marsters sing - bless him he shouldnt' give up the acting job
