I know I’m very late to the party and I’m sure there are other threads though I couldn’t see one. But bloody hell! It’s absolutely incredible. Heard there was a new season starting so went to the beginning to see if it was any good. I didn’t like League of Gebtleman so didn’t have high hopes. Binged the first season in a couple of evenings and can’t wait for more. Anyone else love it? Does it stay as great through s2 and beyond?

I spotted the hare, first time ever, feeling proud.
I really enjoy listening to the Podcast.

DasAlteLeid · 19/05/2022 22:23

Loved this week - excellent cast, the wonderful old mix of darkness and hilarity (loved Reece getting in the house and stuffing everything up, trying to barter with the kidnapper etc!). For me this is the best kind of No9. I get a bit too sad when it’s anything to do with a kiddy, and the scary ones have me cowering behind cushions.

LosingTheWill2022 · 19/05/2022 23:01

Really enjoyed this week's and looking forward to watching it again.
It was clever, creepy enough and some laugh out loud moments too. 😆

SpottyStripyDuvet · 19/05/2022 23:25

Just caught up with this week's episode and really enjoyed it.

NotTerfNorCis · 20/05/2022 08:47

I'm another who's just discovered Inside No 9, and I'm loving it! My favourite episode so far is 12 Days of Christine. I remember seeing the Halloween episode (Dead Line) a few years ago and being totally freaked out by it - it's a very clever series.

Arcadia · 21/05/2022 12:01

This weeks was good I thought!

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/05/2022 23:35

Yes one of the better ones of this series 7

clever twist

likes 1&4

dosing like 2&3

tho for the first time I think ever they had different locations

usually - well always in one venue

we had home office kidnappers lair

thats never happened before has it

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 23/05/2022 00:39

I enjoyed it too.

I have loved Jason Isaacs since Civvies. (Still can’t listen to great balls of fire after something similar)

Sold with Daniel and Daisy too.

And I got the hare so job done!

JoyDivisionOvenGlovesx · 26/05/2022 09:23

I absolutely loved episode 5. Beautifully done.

JoyDivisionOvenGlovesx · 26/05/2022 09:37

So incredibly well acted, but I was particularly impressed by the lad who played Zach.

NotTerfNorCis · 26/05/2022 18:31

That was stunning. What a twist.

BriceNobeslovesMurielHeslop · 27/05/2022 01:06

Yes, I really enjoyed this one. As a long time LOG/ Psychoville/ IN9 fan I feel that this is almost them really maturing into portraying woman. I cried on a train!

Saucery · 27/05/2022 12:49

Wasn’t keen on the futuristic bits, but the human side of the story was incredibly touching. Jessica Hynes is fantastic at maternal emotions. She made me cry in There She Goes and again in this.

Unable to be objective about last week’s episode because phwoarr, Jason Isaacs in a leather jacket 😄

Lottapianos · 27/05/2022 12:59

'Unable to be objective about last week’s episode because phwoarr, Jason Isaacs in a leather jacket 😄'

Indeed. Butching it right up too 😍 might be the only 'phwoar' moment in the history of Inside No 9!

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 29/05/2022 17:19

Ah now.

That made me weep. double e 😞

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/05/2022 21:30

gaggiagirl · 30/05/2022 21:34

I cried. Jessica Hynes is wonderful. Loved this week's episode.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 30/05/2022 21:45

@Blondeshavemorefun

I won’t say any more until you’ve seen it but it caught me on the hop. The littlest of things…

Jessica Hynes is marvellous. As always. I hope you enjoy it.

This week looks to be about public safety information films of yore.

I will get the fear. I know it!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/05/2022 21:58

Don’t mind me Say it. I will

Mydogisagentleman · 31/05/2022 13:51

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 31/05/2022 14:08

Having grown up having my puddens scared out of me by public information films, I’m not sure I am!

and I don’t think Charlie is either

JoyDivisionOvenGlovesx · 01/06/2022 22:35

Blimey.

Well, quite!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/06/2022 23:12

Ooh that was a good one for the finale
This series has knocked the socks off Series 6 , each episode has been dark and each one I have really enjoyed .

This one didn't shy away from dealing with a difficult traumatic subject ( and poor Ferrari Sad )

Anyone else expecting the sister to be one of the taxidermed?
