Changing Rooms tonight. Anyone watching?

I’m so excited to see the return of Changing Rooms tonight on Channel 4. I used to love watching the show in the ‘90s with my mum when I lived at home. I remember doing some very dodgy stencilling in my mum’s front room after being inspired by a makeover!

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will in it so there should be some extreme makeovers. Will anyone else be watching?

Glad it wasn't just me. The drag Hmm the pj's Hmm the 'original' vase artwork with the suggestive decorating technique Hmm the dulux plugs Hmm the insane swing Hmm. I don't know why I didn't switch it off sooner. Roll on interior design masters to make it feel like the 21st century again.

I noticed only LLB was using Dulux paint. The other 2 designers used a different brand I think?

Heritage Paint by the two drag enforcers. (Still Dulux)

And Anna was Sue Perkins partner but I think I read recently that they split.

Can I just say I couldn't stand those other two men? I follow quite a bit of who's who in interiors and I've never heard of them. Plus that wall did look like a garage door. Yuck yuck yuck. Their attitude to women stinks too. Why does it seem to be part of gay men's culture to love drag so much and expect women to love it the same amount?

I didn’t think much of the design from the two men. The colours were obvious and the whole thing was badly executed.
There were no bedside tables. And what were they thinking with that chain thing?

As for LLBs design, that swing chair was annoying and will collapse. The bar area was without any point. The room didn’t make any sense.

I'll remove it from REcord setting - if you want it to change best thing is not to watch it. If figures are poor they might change the presenters.

Trying too hard to be wacky.
Is it that difficult to give the "client" what they would like rather than some idiotic idea - I'm thinking of the ghastly wall of hair and the fact that LLB was told the woman didn't like pink so he puts a lot of pink in the room.

Did anyone notice they changed one of the caulk vases ?
One of them wasn't as messed up as had been shown when the women were making them and AR starting squirting the stuff at the vases.

He was pretty much the only reason I wanted to watch it anyway 😂 I think I would watch a programme about paint drying if he was presenting it.

I recorded it and probably shouldn't comment because I fast forwarded so much of it the whole thing was over in about three minutes and fourteen and a half seconds but I will - what a lot of fucking shite.

I think AR has had a lot of work, in one shot she had really cat like eyes. She looks younger now than she did ten years ago.

I met LLB years ago and had the most brilliant day with him. He is absolutely my no1 fav ‘personality’! He was utterly charming, generous and so so funny and self effacing. His on screen persona is just that, yes he IS flamboyant but definitely not full of himself. I loved watching the new episode just for the nostalgia trip!
