Changing Rooms tonight. Anyone watching?

I’m so excited to see the return of Changing Rooms tonight on Channel 4. I used to love watching the show in the ‘90s with my mum when I lived at home. I remember doing some very dodgy stencilling in my mum’s front room after being inspired by a makeover!

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will in it so there should be some extreme makeovers. Will anyone else be watching?

Loved most of the colours and some of the aspects of LLB's room, but just felt it was over-themed.

The bedroom by The Other Two was horrendous. Like a clown's sex dungeon. Just looking at the bed gave me backache.

I really hate the splodges of colour on the wall in Donna’s bedroom. It could have worked really well with the spray paint.

I liked the colours in Jamie and Leanne’s but why didn’t they paint over the fireplace? It looked really out of place!

Donnas bed was way too small for a bed surely? Wouldn't her legs dangle off the end?

Dear me, another horrendous offering from the Bodgit Boys. I'd get a headache the minute I set foot in that pink room.

LLBs was a bit better but all that plant stuff, dust magnets, the TV blind was dreadful.

I thought that too. She looked fairly short thought so I think she may have been ok. But wouldn't be room for anyone else.

LLB won it again for me. A tweak or two and I would be happy enough.

Clown sex dungeon? Yup. I would wonder about anyone who had a wipe clean bedroom in their house.

ooh Im glad I found this thread! I love changing rooms, pure escapism and nostalgia for an hour- also find it totally hilarious .
But its a shame its becoming so spoof like. The bedroom this week was beyond awful, I hope they kept her original carpet! Always wonder if they have a team of decorators on hand to repaint as soon as TV crews have left! I know there were some dodgy interiors in the 90s show but cant remember the decor being this bad!

The bed was a shocker. I wasn’t paying attention at the beginning, were the two woman a couple? You couldn’t fit two people in that bed.
Where would you get bed linen for it?

LLBs room was ok but I doubt it would stand up to close inspection.
It was too much for me. I liked the colours, and I like dark rooms but there was too much stuff. And, yes, all I saw with the plants was dust magnets.
