She’s Polly Walker, was also in Rome back in the day (another fab historical drama worth a watch).

She gets cast as scheming types quite a lot!

This was so good! Thought Daph and Simon had great chemistry and their scenes left me swooning!! I really hope Pen and Colin end up together. Loved Eloise - such a cool character. So we’ll cast. Loved it all! Such fun to watch and a diversion from the COVID depression.

I've just bingewatched 5 episodes. The scene whether they finally dtd made me feel things! The Duke is sooo gorgeous!! I actually want to swoon when I see him.....

I actually said, quite involuntarily, "Cor!" out loud when he took his shirt off!

Thankfully DH was upstairs watching the football.

Just started watching and up to episode 3. Exactly what I needed. Colourful, fun and romantic. Loving it.

I've just finished a weekend binge watch. It was fun and lovely to look at. Unfortunately the dialogue is terrible, some of the acting is awkwardly wooden, and I feel like everyone involved watched one period drama - probably Downton - and then felt more than qualified!

But will I watch the next season? Yes, probably. Or "proberly" as they said back then, apparently...

@eineReiseDurchDieZeit no way is Casanova that old. Would have been a young teen watching that. Wow! Hunting on other platforms now. Worth buying Britbox for perhaps?

Finished Bridgerton. Mixed reaction in the end. Some terrible wooden acting. Some great acting. Got a bit bored in the middle. As soon as I knew Daphne was Sally from Corrie's daughter I couldn't unsee the resemblance 😅
