Just finished it and loved it. I think I tried the books years ago but couldn't get on with the comedic style but it was well suited to a TV adaption.

Jane Austen is dreadfully dull, clearly written by a suppressed and naive soul pining for a romance beyond her station

I am up to episode 4. 2 episodes yesterday evening and 2 tonight. Have to get child off to.bef first as it is a 15.

Been watching it. It's fun, I love the high colour and prescribed racial diversity. The Duke is obviously hot, as are the three brothers.

But I'm keeping watching just for Penelope from Derry girls 🍀

I've just bingewatched 5 episodes. The scene whether they finally dtd made me feel things! The Duke is sooo gorgeous!! I actually want to swoon when I see him.....

It's lovely looking - but a bit boring so far.

I am ashamed at how late I stayed up to watch to the end. But hot damn that Duke was worth it!

Another bingewatcher here! I love a good Jane Austen romance and whilst this is definitely not of that ilk, there's nothing wrong with a bit of very pretty looking, escapist nonsense. Downton meets Sanditon, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for times like these.

Omg I loved it. Got quite steamy with the lovely Duke (glad I was on my own).
Loved the clothes the sets and the narrator just thoroughly entertaining and much needed

Three episodes in and it’s exactly the kind of frothy nonsense I need right now. Poor Marina.

It's so awful, terrible acting from actors who have been brilliant in other roles.

I binge watched it all today (kids are at their dads) and it was just what I needed...trashy brilliance

I stayed up til 2am watching this. Then carried on at 8.30am while everyone was still in bed. Can’t wait for dc to get to bed so I can watch some more.
The duke is ridiculously handsome.
