The arguments over the dishes reminded me of living in halls.

I love that Anna isn’t ‘slut shamed’ the way a young woman would be now.

Something I noticed was missing- they don’t have any student debts because they went to uni before tuition fees started.

Totally agree on both counts. I really thought Daniela N would go on to be huge but I’ve never seen her in anything else!

I remember quite liking the Kira character at the time but watching it again, she is just so nosy trying to interfere all the time with Warren’s family-that would have been so annoying!

Working my way through series 1 on iplayer. Just seen Ferdy rebuff Warren after their night together and tell him he's getting married. Warren seemed very whiny first time round but I really like him now - and I'm much more sympathetic to Milly, having to carry Egg and his inability to do a job he can't treat like a hobby.

I finished series one yesterday and can't believe they've not put series two up as well! I didn't realise Jack Davenport was only about 22 at the time it was filmed. He's perfect as Miles - such an arse but you still would, wouldn't you?

If someone had told me in 1996 that it would be Egg rather than Anna who'd go on to be an international star then I wouldn't have believed them!
