Oh, so weird! I was just talking about this last week when I heard Portishead

I watched re-runs of this about 10 years ago. It had aged badly even then. Loved it the first time round, second time round all the characters were just self absorbed and irritating. But maybe that’s the point...

I was actually living in a houseshare in London when this came out. Their experience was entirely inconsistent with mine. For starters they didn't have a spare wardrobe in the hallway that the landlord refused to get rid of and also their sofa wasn't a weird shape and made entirely of wood and hessian.

My young professional life as a lawyer was scarily like this 😂😂

Daniela Nardini was in the pilot episode of a BBC Scotland comedy called Two Doors Down a few years back. She was brilliant in it but her character wasn't in the subsequent series'. Looking forward to revisiting This Life

I loved it the first time round.

I was a bit in love with Warren. Pointlessly obviously.

Anna was my template for life in my 20s. I even had a flat in Southwark, and of course a series of self-loathing relationships with inappropriate men, whilst really just wanting to be with my friend.

Warren and his shrink! Egg and his novel. Miles and his refusal to grow up. Milly and her perfect front. Anna and her acid tongue. Kira who is played by Luisa Bradshaw White and plays the exact same character in EastEnders. (I stood in the coat check queue behind her at Popstarz one night in about 1999)! Oh and sweet lovely Joe, too innocent for his crush Anna.

Did anyone see This Life +10? I'd love another follow-up.
