Alright racers!

Who's seen the new trailer and eagerly anticipating the launch? Any early favourites?

I've heard rumours it's going to be stupidly good, up there with s5/6 of the original version.

Definitely the Viv to win, outstanding clothes and make up, absolutely loved the weather outfit. Tbh the standard of some of these queens has not been that high , especially when seeing the contestants on the American version, even in Liverpool where I've seen the Viv a few times, there are far better than some have been on this show

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/11/2019 21:29

Bagga should have gone weeks ago. So sad Cheryl has gone.

AppleOrchard · 19/11/2019 10:56

I miss Cheryl too, such a sweetheart.

inkysplatter · 20/11/2019 15:18

How did Divina make her gorgeous sister look worse?

Adore Cheryl, that was a stitch up. Honestly Michelle's hatred of the body suit is so boring.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 20/11/2019 16:58

Deffo stitch up. Bagga should have been long gone. I don’t think she’s a very pleasant person either. WTF was all that with her mum. Oh she’s of a certain age and has a bit of a tummy and she’s half blind. Poor woman, I thought she had loads of courage to be on drag race. Even if she was dressed up like Halloween.

Cheryl was fabulous as ever, her sister was fabulous why did she have to leave.

AppleOrchard · 20/11/2019 18:21

The Viv to win now I've seen her softer side. She was lovely with her mum saying how great she was and teasing 'have you shaved your minge?!'Grin

inkysplatter · 20/11/2019 18:35

Yeah whatever Baga and mum's history is that was just not a clever way to behave on TV.

The Viv was just wonderful with her mum and Baga's. Despite getting the villain edit I can't help but notice she never gave shady advice to the other queens unlike the others eg Blu steering Sum Ting away from Nigella for snatch game (because she didn't want naughty cook competition).

The Viv is my clear favourite to win. I find Divina awful out of drag, she has such a chip on her shoulder. She's very talented but she's not hilarious like TV.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 20/11/2019 18:38

I think Bagga is a bully. I haven’t seen a nice side. The Vivienne has two sides, but was lovely to both mums.

Divina really is very versatile but a harshness to her personality. They really don’t like her makeup too.

Haworthia · 20/11/2019 20:55

Viv has it in the bag. Or, should I say, it’s hers to lose.

I agree with you Dobby about Divina’s brittle side. Will be interesting to see her lip sync, since she’s the only one who hasn’t.

2Rebecca · 21/11/2019 21:46

Wonderful suit on Ru Paul and is that really AJ from Strictly?

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 21/11/2019 22:14

God. Loved that. Love Glitterball so Curtis and AJ an added bonus. Let me know when it is safe to talk about the result on here. I did not begrudge the winner but did think 2nd place wuz robbed.
Well done to all three though.

2Rebecca · 21/11/2019 22:54

Surely as an iplayer only programme it's OK once it's on iplayer and if you dont want to see the result you avoid the thread? I never understand people who read threads about programmes that have been aired in the UK and then moan about "spoilers". It's not a spoiler it's discussion of a programme you could have watched earlier or avoided a thread on

Avihoot · 22/11/2019 09:33

Well, sorry if this is a spoiler since I nailed my colours to the mast last week, but I am happy with the result. But as a drag race virgin I was a bit confused at the end: where was the promised crown? Shock

Haworthia · 22/11/2019 10:01

The problem with having a crown as a prize is the queens can rarely put it on top of their massive wigs Grin

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 22/11/2019 11:28

Yep annoyed me too - I expect it would not have fitted but still think we should have seen it presented - still think Divina had the better dress, maybe it would have fitted on her scarlet wig. I wonder who all the queens would have gone for, had they got to choose?

chocolateisavegetable · 22/11/2019 14:00

I wonder if part of what clinched it was Viv being a little more humble and they realised she was more likely to support the young up-and-coming talent. Davina is exceptionally talented for sure - but that means she will do well without the title.

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 22/11/2019 14:04

I don't know - I know Ru has scoffed at anyone claiming it's all in the edit - but we all know how reality TV works. I was surprised noone used the word ambassador in their speech, I did like Viv saying she lived and breathed drag. I do think Viv was better across the series overall but not in that particular lipsync and runway.

Evilmorty · 22/11/2019 14:10

I’m happy with the result, Divina was a bit much at the end and 100% thought she had it.

ElspethFlashman · 22/11/2019 14:17

I'm happy too. Divina was definately confident but when Alan said he expected her to bring out a PowerPoint, I died. It was a bit too entitled.

And omg when Graham went "WELL MICHELLE AS SOMEONE WHO LIVES HERE...."

Her face! He's on the hit list for sure! 😂

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 22/11/2019 14:24

I do know what he meant by that though - Baga went first and did self-deprecating when they probably should have gone for a journeeee speech/look how much I learnt - I even managed to kill it in the girlband challenge/I did everything despite not having the dosh (someone on here said she had less money to splurge on wardrobe) and I epitomise British drag (if she actually does, it always seemed a bit one-note, bawdy, seaside but what do I know?!)
I don't think Baga should have won but she looks awesome in the Grazia photoshoot.

chocolateisavegetable · 22/11/2019 14:33

Have only just read that they filmed two different endings and so Divina and The Viv only found out which of them had one just before the finale aired. I did wonder how they had kept it so quiet!

Haworthia · 22/11/2019 15:33

That’s how they always do it @chocolateisavegeyable

Well, since RPDR series three when Perez Hilton spoiled the winner ahead of time. It’s a bit weird though, because it means the onscreen reaction always looks a bit subdued, because they’re sort of “acting”.

Haworthia · 22/11/2019 15:33

Oh dear, talk about typos Grin @chocolateisavegetable

chocolateisavegetable · 22/11/2019 15:41

@haworthia OMG!

Avihoot · 22/11/2019 15:46

You mean they didn't know themselves until last night?
