Alright racers!

Who's seen the new trailer and eagerly anticipating the launch? Any early favourites?

I've heard rumours it's going to be stupidly good, up there with s5/6 of the original version.

The real prize is the profile raising and contract of events with WOW.
I'm enjoying a break from the endless product placement.

Underwhelmed with drag as a concept but it's an entertaining show. You can see some have more money for outfits than others which seems unfair. Really disliked the one who left this week. Did any women find the idea of having 3 breasts totally hilarious the way the men did? Unimpressed with that outfit.
Not seen RuPaul before. Impressed with his stage presence.

I quite like the badge cos I want them to get all passive aggressive and start wearing them at all times in their clothes. It'd be hilarious if someone had say 3 of them and wore them like a row of medals.

Blues Mary Berry was awful! Also though Thatcher was very one note.... But Trump was amazing!!!!

Why do so many of them wear tights that are too small?

Surprised there aren't more stockings. Maybe that's a difference between gay men's taste in hosiery and straight men's taste.

I love Drag Race but was so let down by this. I am sweary and can be crude but this just didn't do it for me. Got lost in translation. The photo shoot was cringe,

I was so disappointed in it. Load of rubbish!

I got into drag race a couple of months ago but have only watched the two most recent American series so far. Tonight's snatch game beat both of those hands down. I've not seen Ru look speechless before, Trump was brilliant. Attenborough was bloody awful. There's a massive difference between American and British drag, the Americans are so much more polished, our girls were just crude. Funny, but crude!

Schaden I wrote that (Me, Rage) and stand by it wrt episode 1.
I also don't watch Downton. But episodes 3 and 4 were much much better.
Not keen on The Vivienne's personality but by God, she brings it. Trump impression was amazing. Bagga was Baggashite, not sure why she was lauded tbh.

Trump was excellent. Vivenne really embodied him and was funny.

Thatcher was one note and I got bored by the last couple of answers. Coupled with the terrible runway I have zero idea why Bagga was top 2 and not just safe. It's clear she has a winners edit here.

Blu played a game - her Mary Berry was awful, but funny in a crude way - had she done that on the US version however she would have been panned for not embodying the personality.

I felt so sorry for Sum Ting - her Sir David was pretty good just not funny and the runway was awful. I actually felt she was better in the lip sync than Crystal?

Cheryl Hole is just meh, isn't she. Entertaining character outside of the competition I'm sure, but she really isn't bringing much to it.

I thought both Trump and Thatcher were fantastic, and I loved how they riffed off each other. Just Baga's face as Thatcher alone had me in stitches.

I agree about Mary Berry - for me it just didn't land at all, I thought from the faces of everyone else in the room that they felt the same. Was surprised when Ru praised her.

I thought Sum Ting was better (again) in the lip synch but I guess they can't justify keeping her on for so many weeks.. It's a shame - I really liked her

I wonder if there are some differences between male and female viewers.. I also thought the three tits thing and the Mary Berry impersonation were sophomoric and stupid - cant imagine many women finding them funny?

Baga winning was a mystery. Her runways are always shite but she mugs for the camera and does jazz hands and the judges lap it up I like her a lot but she did NOT deserve the win this week.

Viv was just sensational in Snatch Game. She really does have C.U.N.T!

Crystal’s lip sync was crap. I was wondering if she was ever going to get up off the floor at one point.

Blu’s Mary Berry was terrible and I thought she’d be lip syncing for sure. She only survived because Ru didn’t know who MB was and enjoyed the “crude old lady” schtick. I agree @BirthdayCakes - I just don’t enjoy Blu at all. People on Reddit were going mad for her make up on the runway and I just think... meh. Another “costume-y” outfit.

I have a soft spot for Cheryl but I hope she steps it up. The girl band challenge next week might be more up her street, but I don’t think she can sing?

Bagas runway was shocking, the state of that padding! Should have discounted her from winning

Joris, I'd agree. I think her snatch game performance saved her but the diving suit dress was dire.

Sum Ting was better in the Lip Sync but Crystal had been better in the Snatch game and runway and had a better costumer for the runway. The red leotard wasn't a flattering look. Shame as I really liked her in the workroom.

Divina to win for me I think, she can do costume well and has experience that some of the others lack.

That Mary Berry was awful, she looked about 50 years younger too.
Gemma Collins was a complete disappointment as well, nowhere near diva enough.

Trump and Thatcher were the only good ones, although Baga's runway sucks.

Totally agree.. also not a fan of Mary Berry either.

Also I thought Cheryl looked more like Mrs Hinch than Gemma Collins.

Julie and Julia is on Netflix played by Amy Adams and Meryl Streep. It's not a bad film actually. Davina wasn't far off, just not funny. Julia was like an American Fanny Craddock I may be the oldest here!
Rue was Blanche from The Golden Girls Sitcom it hasn't aged well

He didn't do southern belle drawl enough or played up to her supposed promiscuity (meant to be Blanche Dubois-esque)

And Cheryl Hole didn't do the GC big enough - she is way louder and brasher and me,me, me than that (sorry Gemma!)

Yeah Cheryl was sort of playing a generic TOWIE character, but not enough to be The GC!
