Tim survives to kill cook another day. More from him at a later date, but also (thank goodness) from lovely Irini.

Bring on the new victims.

I'm out watching football tomorrow night. Will have to catch up when I get home ready for the rest of the week.

ilovesooty · 19/02/2019 19:21

Bugger. Just checked. I'm working on Thursday evening. Sad

fourquenelles · 19/02/2019 20:01

Bottoms. Historical Society meeting tomorrow night. A riveting talk on the Town's allotments. At least it's food related.

I hope they get the sound and visuals sorted this month. I have to go as I lower the average age by about 20 years despite being in my 60s.

I will catch up with you all on Thursday.

Footle · 19/02/2019 22:51

four quenelles, it's kind of nice to know I'm less than a decade older than the next oldest on this reliably satisfying thread.

Pencilmuseum · 20/02/2019 09:16

Of course Footle - the average age of posters must explain the high standard of comment & correct grammar - together with literary allusions etc.

fourquenelles · 20/02/2019 12:38

Footle I have a feeling that there is at least one other regular who can sit with us on the old (and wonderful) old biddies bench nude nudge wink wink say no more ............Schaden cough

Schaden, that sounds a dodgy manoeuvre. You may need both hands to remain upright.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 20/02/2019 15:32

I'm 61 but I have a three year old knee which brings my general average down somewhat Grin

Already there, Fourq!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 20/02/2019 17:08

Had to re-read for your typo fourq.

Having set fire to my clothing and exploded off my eyebrows, I don't think I've got much option but to join you on the bench. . . . .

Wolfcub · 20/02/2019 17:58

Gah I’m going to have to watch tonight’s on catch up. Have to pick ds up from stbexh Angry

Footle · 20/02/2019 18:27

GrouchyKiwi, an ambiguity there. If you mean you feel like having a baby now, I'm afraid the bench is off limits.

Footle · 20/02/2019 19:49

A properly old friend told me today that her father used to speak of the women who drank in his local as
The Ladies with their Backs to the Wall.
I bet they used the very same bench.

GrouchyKiwi · 20/02/2019 19:51

Heh Footle. I'd love another baby. Since that won't happen I'll join you all on the bench, in awe of your combined years of life experience, wisdom and moxie. And also a little bit afraid.

GrouchyKiwi · 20/02/2019 19:52

Also: is it on at 8pm today?
