Masterchef. You don't have to be a serial killer to cook here, but it helps. Thread 2.

Tim survives to kill cook another day. More from him at a later date, but also (thank goodness) from lovely Irini.

Bring on the new victims.

That looks delish, Crisp! Definitely going to be giving that a go.

CrispbuttyNo1 · 17/02/2019 00:01

It’s really easy. The trick with the slicing is peel, par roast and then when you slice put the handle of a wooden spoon lengthways next to the squash so you don’t slice too far.

MyBeloved · 17/02/2019 00:30

Shamelessly place marking. I luffs Masterchef. I hope there are some better cooks next week!

TraceyBond · 17/02/2019 08:41

Very cryptic, Grinchly. Autocorrect perhaps? 😁

The cats were not impressed that Yui went and Tim stayed. In fact, they had a bit of a fight.

Game cookery is NOT easy, it goes from succulent to leather in the blink of an eye.

My partner is away this week (Switzerland, so I'm hoping for some NICE CHOCOLATE, please, darling), so I am going to have to save the episodes until they return. Devotion or what?

GrouchyKiwi · 18/02/2019 12:37

Much as I'm sad that Yui left, I do agree with PPs that she fucked up by not doing her research.

Is it on again tonight?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 18/02/2019 14:10

I've just seen a thing on Twitter - Masterchef is Wed (8.00 pm), Thur (8.00pm) and Fri (9.00pm) this week.

Can anyone confirm or rebut?

What are they trying to do to me? - I'm already in a state of terminal confusion ffs!

Halsall · 18/02/2019 14:14

NOOOOOOOO!

But you're right, Schaden. Radio Times confirms. It's bloody FOOPBALL tonight

damn straight - and only 30 mins on Fri. No Mrs Joyful prize for BBC planners. they could have shifted a documentary at 9pm about gifted teenagers on bbc2 into the bin.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 18/02/2019 15:38

It's hard enough keeping up with the effing masterchef schedule to start off with, without this kind of going on!

Hazlenutpie · 18/02/2019 16:06

So wall to wall football tonight! Angry

iklboo · 18/02/2019 16:59

Oh buttered ball sacks & toasted testes. Bloody football!

I'll have to watch the rest of Umbrella Academy instead (luckily DH hates fubble as well).

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 18/02/2019 17:35

But...it's Monday!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 18/02/2019 17:37

Boys foopball or girls foopball? As if I didn't know.

< gives telly dark glowering look>

JenniferJareau · 18/02/2019 17:56

I was so looking forward to watching it tonight Sad

SchadenfreudePersonified · 18/02/2019 19:47

They are BUGGERS, fleas - BUGGERS!!!!!

They don't care whose hearts they break.

Wolfcub · 18/02/2019 20:25

Please share the tissues. There is Jeff all on tv tonight and I was looking forward to a therapeutic Gregg-slagging

GrouchyKiwi · 18/02/2019 20:33

'Tis very annoying, but at least I can watch Bones instead.

JenniferJareau · 18/02/2019 22:01

I love Bones

Taffeta · 18/02/2019 22:40

We are so behind we are watching Line of Duty.

Season 2 Grin

whatashower · 18/02/2019 22:41

Was v v v v v annoyed to be stationary on the M6 for hours and hours today with only some Waitrose beetroot falafel (disappointing, underseasoned ) and an audiobook (Nomad by James Swallow - gripping) for company. So sort of glad that Masterchef is a scheduling football and I didnt actually miss. And very glad I had just had a loo stop before hitting the traffic queue, phew.
