Is it very wrong of me to like Dr Who when it's a bit more straightforward and not trying to hide things from me or does that make me dull?

Wasn't available for pre-squee, but I have now turned into a big blob of guh! because I absolutely loved that.

Yes, I guessed how a lot of it was going to play out, but the mark of something brilliant is when you know what's going to happen and you're still stunned and surprised with the way it pans out.

And the Doctor and River like the handcuffs, eh?

It was a corker of a story. Extremely well-written. DSs and I loved it. Go Moffat!

How cool must it be to be Mr Moffatt's son and son's friend, and be able to say that characters on Doctor Who are named after you ?

Bean:

Girl dies. Library of everything installed on big hard drive along with her personality, so she can be happy. Real library bolted on. Unfortunately real library infected with shadow thingies.

Girl 'saves' all people in the real library to the hard drive so they will not get eated (physical bodies saved as energy waves). Girl doesn't know she is in cyberland controling security systems etc in real library. Luckily aided by Dr Moon the virus-checking software or some such.

In comes Doc et al. In Doc's future but Professor's past they have met before. In Doc's future he knows how things ended up in library so he kitted her out with special sonic screwdriver , adapted to function like kind of USB memory stick so that when she gets wiped out ( in course of giving exrta memory to hard drive to enable it to get the people out again) she can be re-uploaded friom the USB device/screwdriver to the hard drive and live happily ever after in cyberland.

I am in love with Proper Dave and Other Dave.

The first shot had Cal, the second shot showed the 2 that were like Donna's children, I think.

Grrrr bastard buggering iplayer STILL hasn't got this episode. And we couldn't watch it on TV because we suspected it would be too scary for ds. Am considering holding Jonathan Ross hostage until they load it.

The Vashta Nerada gave the Doctor 24 hours to get the people out of the computer and off the planet. Then they would have the library to themselves.

next weeks episode is a scary one, but more scary in the psychological way that the monsters.
